Has anyone spotted any Prime Day bargains?
I’ve never really spotted anything great, but it may be useful to share any finds here?

There isn’t a lot visible just yet....

Yes, it starts at noon BST, (11:00Z for any folk who may be somewhere far away). hehe

I don’t think I need anything, but you can guarantee I’ll order something anyway to ‘save money’. biggrin

Some deals are available to preview on their app now.

It seems to be full of Chinese ‘brands’.

Does stuff normally go live all at once, or might things come on stream later in the day? I was after one of the new Ticwatch Pro watches, but read that they were going to be on sale today. As far as I can see they're not reduced at all, which isn't a surprise as they're still on Amazon exclusive, but I want to know what's what before I purchase as I don't want it to be cheaper later on!

Presumably all amazon echo devices will be on sale as bezos takes over our lives and drags us into the amazon universe so he can make spaceships.

Various deals go live at different times over the course of the 72 hour long ‘day’.

If anyone does order from Amazon remember to use the smile.amazon.co.uk link where you can then choose to donate to a charity of your choice. Mine is set to MSF for now.

Looks like a load of crap so far, remember last year being similar.

Spotted an iPad 4 case though, best get in quick for one of those.

Ta, I just looked on the website and it's saying it starts at noon anyway. I'll hang on and see what happens.

I'll probably buy a Kindle Paperwhite as it appears there's a reasonable deal on offer from midday i.e. a discount of £35 on the normal price.

So how does this work then, do I have to keep scrolling through pages of crap for 72 hours to see if what I want is discounted?

I'm after an Android stereo for my car, one of the Pumpkins is listed, so I might see what they do with these:

Pretty much. Then you see something you want and realise that the discounted price is actually more than what it sells for normally, and Amazon has actually increased the price on a lot of the stock, and then artificially discounted them to give buyers the impression they are getting a bargain. Mugs game.

That's what I thought, which is why I've never bothered, but I was going to buy the watch anyway then I read it would be discounted today, so I'll keep my eye on it and see what happens.....

I use that a lot, Its amazing how much prices go up and down.

I put something in my basket the other day then forgot about it. Looked next day and the price had gone up, next day gone down a bit. You would have to be mad to use one of their Dash Buttons or order though Alexa without looking at the price you are paying.
