Alisson should probably do better with their goal but I really don't get this offside rule.
Surely one of them was offside?
I also hand't realised Hart had saved that shot from Keita. Good effort and a top save.
From when you see if front on yes but not when you see it from behind the guy in front goes for it his arms are out totally throws him, then when 2 hands are on the ball it's booted out, not at fault 1 bit for me ...Surely one of them was offside?

That young lad for wolves looks decent

MOTD have not really shown the angle enough for Burnley goal, the guy(offside) in front totally throws him as he should get a touch but doesn't, it then hits his arm and bounces out
Yep Alisson definitely reacts to him and I am sure he was in an offside position.Either way doesn't matter.

didn't dwell on it strangely, but commentator clearly says it should be offside as he is clearly interfering with playArsenal were unlucky. The header out of Gea's hand should have stood I think.
Also, only seen it once as they didn't discuss on MOTD but should Mkhitaryans goal have stood? When shot he was off the field, swung a leg for the rebound and it went in. He wasn't interfering either.
Not to mention the none red card for the hair pull.

Nope the ball has to be released before an attacker can touch it..Also, only seen it once as they didn't discuss on MOTD but should Mkhitaryans goal have stood? When shot he was off the field, swung a leg for the rebound and it went in. He wasn't interfering either.
Can't picture the last 1 you're on about , pretty sure he will have just become active so offside

De gea only had one hand on the ball when Lacazette cleverly headed it out and scored, I thoughts the keeper had to had two hands on but clearly not...
Which leads me to believe that the burnley goal should've been disallowed for two infringments.
All in all unless we beat city 30-0 at the Etihad it's unlikely to matter in the long run
Such a big result last night, it can't really be underestimated. Burnley were playing scrappy, old school football, Dyche determined to make sure we weren't allowed to keep hold of the football for too long or allow us to impose our style on the match. It was meant to frustrate and it worked.
In previous seasons under Benitez or Rodgers or even Klopp, we would have lost that game once Burnley went ahead. What I enjoyed most was just how calmly we seemed to turn the game around. We didn't let frustration set in - and we kept attacking and sure enough the goals came. A true team performance in many ways.

Mkhitaryan was almost off the pitch when the shot came in, in rebounds and he finishes (really well tbf) but he's definitely offside.

iirc the law changed a few years ago to say that people off the pitch can still be offside.De gea only had one hand on the ball when Lacazette cleverly headed it out and scored, I thoughts the keeper had to had two hands on but clearly not...
Keepers only have to be in control of the ball now, so not necessarily two hands. If he was in control of it though, he wouldn't have let Lacazette head it out of his hands so idk..

I thought it was an offence to reenter the field of play without the referees permission anyway?
only if off for a stoppage/injuryhappens all the time when players slide off / over-run and stop on the hoardings - no player asks the ref if he can trot back on the pitch
