Only six teams in English top-flight history have had a better record after 15 games than Liverpool have this season.

Crazy year for us to be this consistent hehe

This save at 2-1 - how many points has he won for us now, I have lost count but I am guessing over 8 - he currently has the best save to shot % at 85% - to put that in perspective Karius and Migs used to be between 30-40%

Anyone else getting a semi at the proposition of beating Utd in a week and a half and getting Jose sacked?
We have to beat them first, They always up their game for that match.

Hopefully Gomez can recover before then as I would love to go into the match with a full first 11.

No chance of that by the looks of it, going to be a few weeks

it doesnt look like its going in from that angle..

Shouldn't he have also done better for the goal? both BBC and SKY said he should, as have many on here.... you seem to be on a one man crusade to tell everyone they are wrong and that obviously he is the bestest laugh

Are you sure about those stats for Migs and Karius Sye? that would put them amongst the worst keepers in Europe in the top leagues. I'm sure they used to be in the high 60s?

Virgil van Dijk vs Burnley: 88% passing; 90 passes completed - most on the pitch; 1 assist; 3 shots; 12/13 aerial duels - most on the pitch; 9 clearances; 1 interception ; Sublime.

Easily the best CB in the Premier League right now. No debate - but arguably the best player in the Premier League recently?

More off memory so could be wrong
I just know they both used to be well down on the best keepers

For me, VVD is the best player in the prem at the moment, irrespective of position. Sublime is the right word.

We've only scored 5 more goals than Bournemouth in the league, yet have 16 more points than them.

I probably agree, I cannot think of 1 other player excelling as much in his position as much as him.....

yeah I guessed the figure hence why i said 30-40% I just remembered it being very low compared to the top keepers

on the pc now so having checked it was 59% for Mignolet & 68% for Karius - Both well down on Alisons 85% (point I am making is quite obvious really)

Which bit ?
If you mean the 8points off memory without even checking other games

Brigton home 1-0 kept us in it with save right at the death 2point
Everton 1-0 a number of top class saves to keep them to 0 - 2point
Burnley 3-1 save above at 2-1 - 2 points
Chelsea away 1-1 a couiple of top saves at 1-0 - 2points

So thats 8 without even looking, probably more tbh

Certainly on first bit most would say yes

Second bit is a bit OTT, way more subjective of course but too much hyperbole for me. We should leave such silliness to the Spurs "Kane is best striker in the world" thread IMHO

Gomez has suffered a fracture to his lower left leg. He will be out for up to 6 weeks.
