Long may Jose and Sanchez remain, they're draining the club of morale and tieing up transfer funds, it's a joy to behold.

I'm amazing people like Annie still believe UTD can win the prem hehe
No, no, it's the Champs League they think they could win ... they're saying the Prem is 'gone' - before Sept is even over. The days of it being between them and those Gunners - a battle they inevitably won mostly - are definitely over, thank heavens ...

There's a lot of gloating going on. We've not won anything yet.

That's what I'd like to see, but not sure Klopp will make so many changes. Not sure Solanke/Origi are fit.

that's our full B side, hope they train together that way or we could be very disjointed. Or I hope Chelsea rest Hazard, Willian and Pedro

Let's be honest whilst we all had a bit of a chortle at UTD last night - it's not the end of the world getting knocked out of this.

They put out a strong side yet still don't have any shape or plan. It's fking hilarious.

The League Cup is 6th priority... after Prem, ECL, FC Cup, top 4 and getting out of the ECL group stages.

Wouldn't bother me if we didn't progress as long as it doesn't impact team moral.

Agreed but ideally we progress well with a B side (who get much needed first team action) and keep the positive momentum going.

Saturday more important

Yeah, frankly while I enjoy Utd losing and I'm no great fan of Jose's sulky public persona, its only the Carabao Cup and we haven't played our game in the same round yet.

I'd like us to stay in the competition, if only to ensure the players not always in the first team get plenty of experience.

Chelsea will do exactly the same

You can call it B side but Sturridge , Shaquiri, Kieta, Hendo, Matip, Lovren etc are all 1st teamers really - all have played and started this year (bar lovren, due to injury) I would not get to hung up on if they are 'regulars' or not , nearly all are good enough for 1st team duties

I would take the risk, need to keep Robertson, Trent , VVD , Gomez 100% fresh - games will be coming thick and fast soon

Same will apply to Chelsea's back line

It will be a good game for the so-called B team. Be interesting to see how well they perform. Don't think he will start Hendo though.

I may be wrong, but I isn't that our back 5 from two years ago? If so, should know each other relatively well still. Plus Henderson and Sturridge were first team starters when fit back then.

Shows how far our team has come!

Still scared if Moreno is playing...

Agree it's not a priority competition, but it does give us the chance to give other players a start.

I don't think it's gloating because of the result, who really cares, it's the league cup and they're in the CL. It's the way JM is openly criticising the players to the press. Beginning of the end and very poor form IMO.
