Sorry chaps, posted on the wrong thread. Now deleted and reposted.

I wondered where that post had gone.

It's mad that Camacho can play striker and RB, shows how versitle players can be.

Fab playing mid and defence, Bobby could probably drop into midfield, Milner literally anywhere. It's brilliant really.

Did anyone see the Liverpool FC 10 year challenge? A picture of two empty trophy cabinets. I thought that was a bit harsh. You did win 1 League cup in that time.

Not many friendly friendlies now with the Nations League. The Dutch are back and are favourites to win the tournament.
Ah ok. I did read about that. Not really a big fan of the modern game full stop. I used to follow most internationals. They don't really do much for me anymore. I only follow Liverpool still because its in my blood and what I've done for nearly 50 years.

Thoughts on the Palace game? Theyve not had many stellar games for a few months so am hoping we don't slip up

My thoughts...I can't see why we'd slip up - we've proven we're very capable of grinding out a result, or indeed, popping a few goals in if we can. 3 points more, for me.

I often wondered if the forum had some macro set up to post about Gerrard whenever anyone mentions the word "slip" in any unrelated context...

Oh come on, how is it unrelated? You are talking about Liverpool maintaining their title challenge by not losing a game\dropping points and using the word slip, that's just asking for trouble surely? biggrin

When I read it I thought he had put it in jest tbh - it was obvious it would be brought up

I genuinely can't tell, if serious then delete immediately laugh

Palace will be tough, it always is, they are actually the last team to beat us at anfield in the league, back in 2017

In all honesty I really don't think about that at all - it's in the past. Funny for everyone else at the time, no doubt - but not something I give any thought to. Kinda wish I'd meant it now. Dang... hehe

Funnily enough it was the Palace game that cost us the title that year IMHO, Not Stevies Slip.

(Hence why I am nervous about this weekend.)

It's one of the stock responses. Was it the pivotal issue? As discussed, Henderson's absence was arguably the most critical factor.

Either way, until it's won then nothing is certain. And Palace, like all Prem teams, are perfectly capable of pissing on chips.
