Chelsea look to have bought their striker in time then, reckon we can borrow him for a game?

Also if im honest it doesnt really sit comfortably for me that you can buy a player at half time in tie and then play him am i the only one?

Im aware we did the same with defoe 10 years ago although im not sure we actually played him but i still dont think its right.
No news yet but as we well know rules don’t apply to some .
Doesn't look like he's signed in time to play tomorrow night.

I don't understand why we aren't going in for Higuain, getting a proven goalscorer on loan seems a no-brainer. With Poch being an Argie as well, I'd have thought therre might be a possible tie-up.

I know we are not strong in the transfer market, but we actually need some forward players yet we seem content to let Chelsea have a free run.

Unless of course we tried and get rebuffed, in which case I'll shut up.

So let me get this straight, we now see Tottenham don't have much more of an injury problem compared to most other top teams, and a short time ago we found out Liverpool have a better net spend than them despite all the claims on here about buying the league/ how they make so much money etc. Stupid facts getting in the way!
It's almost like the Spurs lot are just a bunch of whinging pansies! biggrin

Think it might be the £300k a week they are going to pay him.

Pretty sure he wouldn't have moved had it not been for Sarri too. You've got decent forwards, it's just they're all out injured which is unfortunate. No good youth striker you could call upon? Or is it only Chelsea that get stick for not playing youth?

We really don't. We need to strengthen the defensive spine of the team. We're not short of forward players in the squad, it's just unlucky that we're in a period when most have been unavailable for one reason or another. But Moura should be back tomorrow and Son will be back from the Asian Cup in a couple of weeks. Llorente isn't a bad player he just needs a run in the side and some service.

Yes Kazaiah Sterling from the under 23s, was on the bench against Fulham.

It is very similar to us with RB, we have 4 people who can play it, TRENT, GOMEZ, FABINHO, MILNER - all either injured or suspended - then people call out JK for letting CLYNE go (they were all fit or able to play when he did) if that is not bad luck I dont know what is.
I also like giving youth a chance ahead of someone just picking up wages so would rather Camacho plays ahead of Clyne if im honest, we would never have found TRENT if we didnt give him a go at 18.
