Surprised none of you are saying you'd have Alisson over Lloris considering he's currently got the best save percentage in Europes top 5 leagues.

I agree that both teams front three are pretty similar.

Not sure I'd take Jan over Gomez. I think I'd take our back four and keeper all day long. A couple of years ago it would be unthinkable to say that!

They are pretty similar Keepers really. Both very good on thier day and both have a cockup in them I don't think it would matter which played. With a defence of your 3 plus verts no one would get near the keeper anyway.

Gomez is fantastic and is going to be a superstar butd I'd still have verts over him if we played tomorrow.

Allison has had half a season, same for Gomez.... Verts is just such a sublime player, he and Virgil would be a cracking partnership.

Sure, but Poch won't be picking any of your players based on how they were playing last season or previous. Players are picked based on recent form.

Allowing the 26-year-old to depart back in August as he looked to avoid the real prospect of doing military service in his home country, the Lilywhites struck a deal with the national side that would see him miss the first two games of next month's Asian Cup.

That means he will not be featuring for South Korea in their opening game against Philippines on Monday, January 7, nor their match against Kyrgyzstan four days later.

Remaining with Spurs for their FA Cup match against either Southport or Tranmere, Son will also be available for the clash against Manchester United at Wembley before jetting off to the United Arab Emirates.
Here are the games Son is likely to miss if South Korea progress to the final on Friday, February 1:

20/01 - Fulham (A)

22/01 - Chelsea (A) - Carabao Cup

26/01 - FA Cup fourth round

30/01 - Watford (H)

02/02 - Newcastle United (H)

Unusually nervous about today's game. If both teams play like they did on their previous games we'll get turned over. Hoping things return to normal and we see a much better performance than we gave against Chelsea.

Gomez then yes, altho not on form it's just Verts has been missing for most of it! (mind you isn't Gomez injured now?)

Are you going?

I'm going as the only time in recent years I've seen us lose against MU was in the FA cup.

Not going, I've banked the refunds and got a day of fitting skirting board instead frown

I think you should win without too many problems. Their defence is a concern, so facing a better attack like yours will show up the issues that are still there. And I think you'll play a different style and push on a bit - unless it is tiredness from too many games that caused the performance against Chelsea.

I think the Chelsea game you have to give credit to Chelsea, I didn't think we were that bad, just Chelsea played a great game. However they didn't look like scoring, and we won the game... Got to be happy.

Can you see Lukaku doing what Hazard did?

Easy work for you today. smile

Utd are really confident after their 4/5 recent training games against useless opposition, I've not seen a more friendly set of fixtures, but expect a massive wake up call for them today.

Unless DDG puts in another 'utd player of the season' performance I can see you winning by 3 goals.

No and I'm not really concerned about him, it's the rejuvenated Pogba and Rashford that carry the bigger threat.
It would just be so typically Spurs that with Arsenal losing and Chelsea winning we allow United to continue riding the crest of the OGS wave rather than stamp our authority on the game, particularly after the last performance.

Still, best to cover all the bases laugh

The biggest issue is tiredness. They've been on a beach in Dubai for ten days thier main players haven't played for two weeks. We've played a million games since then and we looked absolutely fked v Chelsea.

It's an must win though if we have dreams of the title.

I see you're all getting the excuses in early hehe but there really is no need. You'll win comfortably today.

Also, I think you performed well against Chelsea midweek. Ok so it wasn't free flowing obviously, but you'll get games like that. I don't think they really looked like scoring. 1-0, job done.
