VJ tried to hard I thought. He always went looking for the ball so to be involved. Which often ended up with him taking up some odd positions out wide or anywhere away from the goal. He should just play on the last defender and hand around the penalty spot. His job is to score goals, not create them. I know he was more than a little Soldado in front of goal but that just down to confidence, which on comes with playing.

Either Poch never wanted him, gave him a chance and decided he was rubbish and cut him out of his plans for good. Or there was a more fundamental issue with his attitude or application. Clearly Poch wants to sell him to release funds but for some reason VJ keeps turning down offers from other clubs. If the lad still thinks he can cut it in the Prem and is being patient for another chance, good luck to him. Poch is simply being pragmatic as he now has space in the squad for another foreign player.

We'll have none of that talk round here if you don't mind. I said that once and got vilified.

Guys, you can joke about how much we've paid for some recent signings, but there's 1 team sitting on the top of the table (for now!) smile

As you lot know better than most some players just take time to settle, hopefully Kieta will settle, time will tell.

I'm amazed this lot remember what a player transfer is to be honest.

If my team had outspent every other team in the league then i'd expect them to be there or thereabouts too

If Levy had a pound for every time you said that, your stadium would be finished by now. wink

If I were a totally blinkered Poch adoring Spurs fan, I would point out that Poch hasn't done a u-turn - when asked the other month if TPVJ was part of his plans he was correct to answer no because at that time he wasn't part of the plans as there was no place for him in the squad. Now a few have left there is space for him so he can be included.

But I'm not, so I won't. biggrin
He hasn't done a u turn.... We know he doesn't do that,. He didn't with andross... Or Kevin wimmer...

I thought something like this might happen when it was announced k sterling got a loan deal, he was the youth back up plan until kane returned, plans need to change sometimes

Hopefully we will see a sissoko like resurgence, I wanted sissoko gone, not any more

We are building the greatest football stadium the world has ever seen & not a Merseyside Fire station extension dude .

It's bound to take time .

Well hopefully it should be ready by next season, would be a shame if another team handed you your first defeat there. smile

A disappointing overpriced "box-to-box" midfielder who is the subject of ridicule from fans of other clubs.
