Reflecting on last night, to go to Turin and beat many people's tournament favourites must reconfirm United as one of the few clubs who can win the tournament, along with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Citeh are clearly a very good footballing side, but they just seem to lack a little something in the latter stages of European competition. A little like PSG.

History tells us that the ECL tends to be won by a club with history and heritage, call it experience, rather than the petro-dollar clubs.

Just my observation.
