I’m a bit dissapointed to be honest. I know it gives us a better chance of going through if he’s not on the pitch but my lad is/was really looking forward to seeing him play live. It is what it is. Either way, I agree we’re going to beat them so happy days.

It wasn't a dig. Really. Just that Champions League football (or the lack of it) has made such a big dent in your finances. You were top of the revenue pile last year and now are nearly £100m behind Real Madrid.

It's about football, not money. Millions of people go to the football every week, cheering when their team wins and commiserating when they lose. Stockbrokers huddle round screens or in stock exchanges cheering when stock goes up and commiserating when they lose.
Money and these pointless reports shouldn't excite supporters.

Taking into account a c5% fall in the value of sterling, I’d have thought €30-40m of the difference will be exchange rates.

Overall not a bad result given the football hasn’t done much talking.

I'd be more than happy with either Poch or OGS to be honest. I think OGS should be given a second season perhaps and the chance to add or subtract some faces if he wanted. He's just got utd in his blood and heart.
