You do realise that pogba was one of the highest scoring midfielders last season in the prem? And yes he was ste at times.
Edit to add, transfer talk is also that he would fetch 150m, if that's true he can feck right off and well happily bank the 60m profit to spend elsewhere!

Of course, there's no denying the goals he scored (though 7 penalties out of 13 goals do help) but, by all accounts, his relationship with one manager wasn't particularly helpful to the club?

I think we can safely say for a lazy arse he actually did ok when you look at his goal and assist tally. where he lets himself down is chasing back and supporting. Talk of him being made captain if he stays

6 of one etc... I do sympathise a bit with Jose as he knew the issues and brought them out publicly, albeit embarrassing pogba didn't help.

Definitely. But your season seems to have split into 3 distinct parts in terms of results/performances:

Mourinho
OGS honeymoon
OGS business as usual

I haven't watched enough MU games to understand this - what are your thoughts?

Plus playing the likes of the boys from FC BATE Borisov cannot be that appealing .
It’ll probably provide a glimpse into the future of your club this time next year if Poch ends up leaving. Can’t believe he won’t get any improvement in kitty this time round, he can’t work miracles forever.
In all fairness sir, you have missed the point of my post. This is no way meant as a derogatory comment about Manchester united.
I don’t believe I missed the point of your words at all. Whether you meant to or not, you twisted the knife again.
It appears you knew that though because you’ve taken my response as a rebuke whereas I was merely stating an opinion of what I believe will transpire to be fact in the event that your manager follows through on his threats.

Pretty much exactly how it went. The start and finish performances were about the same. The winning streak was them playing out of their skins with something to prove. It's how they managed 2nd place previously but not something they can keep up unlike other teams, not enough skill/drive/will/teamwork etc.
We all knew it would be a struggle when Jose wasn't backed to buy big like he wanted.

Anyway enough post mortem talk it's time to look forward instead

Classic BCM:

Chuck in a catty one-liner (basically “haha you losers are in the Europa Cup”).
Gets called out.
“Who me sir? No no I wouldn't do that chum”

Utd friend of mine thinks a deal is done for Maguire - any rumours from Manchester?

Some lad from Stoke has been mentioned too, Nathan Collins, 6ft 4 defender and a lot of potential apparently. That was yesterday though, today it'll be someone different hehe

that does rather skew the stats rofl

I sincerely hope you keep him and make him captain and assent to his silly wage demands - his attitude sucks and he sulks, he is a player you target in the game, yes to nullify the threat, but also to wind up. When things don't go his way he loses all composure and cannot be arsed.

Also 1 rebound from a pen, 2 v the worst team in the prem Hudds and 2 v Bournemouth

He needs to show up in big games against big players for me, until he does that consistent he will always have the doubters
