OK.

I think you'll be expecting too much of him to do it without one.

Still looking I believe. Molde season starts on 31st March so suspect the timing is more to do with that.

Does anyone know about Carrick, Phelan etc and if they are part of his backroom team still?

I do think a Sporting Director will certainly help him getting the players signed.

Haven't heard anything to say they are going, we'll probably need to pay off Phelans club that's about it

Can't see Carrick, McKenna going anywhere. I suspect Phelan will stay on. Alvarez may go...if DDG goes.

What we really need is a Commissioner of Football. wink

Really happy he’s signed and now it’s time for Ed to step up and back him. If he doesn’t then the fans will turn on him far far quicker than they will Ole.

We need to to go big this summer and get rid of 4 players at least.

Come on United!!

The timing of the announcement is to allow Ole to negotiate contracts like DDG’s and bring new faces in.

We've been linked with about 80 players so far

It might genuinely be an interesting summer, Real have to spend, Chelsea may be on a ban, we need to spend, I can't imagine Spuds will go another window not spending, the dippers need an upgrade on Salah

God to see Manchester United finally appoint Paul Pogba’s assistant on a permanent basis .

Good luck to Ole , he seems a thoroughly decent chap & a proper football man .

It's a time for calmness and to keep singing "Ole's at the wheel..." on a loop. hehe

It was actually Pogba's agent, and his brothers.

This is great news, what a Filip prior to the weekend. 3 year deal is sensible too - just hope he is properly backed.

Happy days.

It's contract lengths like this that make it incredible anyone saw fit to give Moyes a SIX-year deal. What were they thinking?!
