What the **** is wrong with people?

All I know is football stadiums are a much nicer place to be nowadays than they used to be and they improve every season so perhaps we'll get to a time when you have to stay sitting and cheer when the opposition scores.
But Kick It Out tell us that racist abuse is getting worse? How does that make them nicer?

You can admit there being a problem whilst not being part of that problem. Is it your opinion that every single football fan is sexist and racist and foul mouthed?
God, you're not coming across as very bright here. You keep suggesting somehow that I'm taking extreme positions, when in fact I'm being quite reasonable, and I'm backing everything up with data and experiences where possible.
It's a bit like the other bloke who suggested that unless I've spoken to every steward in the country, I'm not allowed to make observations about their behaviour.
It's the sort of debating style I'd expect from a teenager.
What a cracking bunch of lads. Next Prime Minister somewhere in here, I'm sure of it.

I can't take anything seriously from someone who endorses racism.
Really. Perhaps you could show me where/when I’ve endorsed racism please? You condone racism.
There, that's better.
Christ on a bike, is he still banging on. How many times can you keep saying the same thing?
"Ooh I'm so offended by sweary people at football" a book by C70R. No longer a book because there isn't a binding wide enough to contain the many variations on the same few sentences (interspersed with name calling) he can come out with. So it comes out here instead.
Go and write to the Times, or the Telegraph, or someone who actually cares you're so offended. Go and do something constructive about it instead of calling everyone who disagrees with you names.

The example in the picture was racism.
Not one single person in that photo reported the racist behaviour. Not a soul.
It took the player reporting it to his club for any action to be taken.
I'm sure you'll now start telling me about how football grounds are noisy places, and that you're sure they didn't hear it etc.
I wouldn’t have reported it either. Most people won’t get involved whether at football or elsewhere. Not one single person in that photo reported the racist behaviour. Not a soul.

If the stats tell you I'm wrong then so be it.

Seriously fella you’re going on and on about a problem that hardly exists.

That's a terrible set of excuses.
Can you explain why tens of thousands of 'fans' singing racist and sectarian songs at each other is treated differently to someone shouting racist abuse on the streets?
I can, and it's because the clubs and leagues are petrified of upsetting their source of income.
Football fans are regularly banned from all regulated football matches if caught using racist or homophobic language. Can you explain why tens of thousands of 'fans' singing racist and sectarian songs at each other is treated differently to someone shouting racist abuse on the streets?

I’ve also witnessed pretty disgusting and idiotic behaviour from fans at cricket, horse racing and boxing events, but never seen any banning orders dished out.

You are taking extreme positions. "All of football", "football fans". Not everyone is the same therefore it is a stupid stance to have. You keep suggesting somehow that I'm taking extreme positions, when in fact I'm being quite reasonable, and I'm backing everything up with data and experiences where possible.

You are offended by shouty angry people at football. So stay away from football. However you do sound the type who may have written in to Mary Whitehouse complaining about something offensive on TV but lacked the common sense to change channels and proceeded to watch an entire programme just to get more offended
The worst behaviour in sport I have experienced has never been anywhere near a football pitch. I have witnessed appealing racism in cricket and shocking behaviour on a rugby pitch. My experiences at football grounds has been no racist chanting or behaviour. Worst chanting I heard in and around me was regarding Adam Johnson and a little ditty about him being a disgusting abhorrant sex offender.

As a Spurs ST holder I also go to quite a lot of cricket, in fact I’m off to the first middx vitalIty blast game later this afternoon. Over the last couple of years I would say most of the bad / unruly behaviour, call it what you want, that I’ve seen, has been at cricket, most if not all of it alcohol related as you are allowed to get absolutely W**kered at cricket and nobody cares, one instance in particular was of a fairly nasty racist nature I’ve also witnessed pretty disgusting and idiotic behaviour from fans at cricket, horse racing and boxing events, but never seen any banning orders dished out.

Really? In what way? I am interested in how you come to that conclusionPlease try harder.

Low level humour. You know it. I know it and it’s very sad.

Hahaha I bet you are a barrel of laughs. Patronising too. Even lower form of humourPlease try harder.
Only football fans come out with low level humour then?

Being patronising just loses any audience you have for your opinion.

So far the opinion is "oh a joke I don't find funny, how very football of you! This is interrupting my game of polo"Please try harder.

You watched it on TV and did nothing about it, didn't call the police, didn't report to the broadcaster, didn't submit a formal complaint to OFCOM. Nothing

I have no idea what point you're trying to make here. I'm not sure if you do either. There was action you could take but didn't! Get off your high horse
I didn't watch the match where a 24yo guy was racially abused by a bunch of middle-aged football fans.
If I was to report every instance of verbal abuse I saw at football matches on TV, I'd spend half my time on the phone.

Please do it. It would also have the knock on effect of you not having the time to post on here as well whilst cleansing your mind of any distress I didn't watch the match where a 24yo guy was racially abused by a bunch of middle-aged football fans.
