Fairly confident that we need a few new players.
Rumours are strong that Fellaini is on his way to the Tottenham Hotspur Football and Athletic Club."Jose Mourinho has confirmed Erik Lamela will be out for two months with a hamstring problem, while fellow midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is set to be fit to play a part in the busy festive period following a groin injury."
"Giovani Lo Celso will not start against Wolves and the Portuguese manager says he "doesn't know" when the on-loan Argentina international, 23, will reach his full potential."
Good news on Dombo. I'm not sure Lo Celso is going to be sticking around.

Eriksen plays because they want to sell him, so are keeping him in the shop window. Who knows who scouted or approved Locelso. Mopo? Well he's gone so hardly Jose's fault if he doesn't fancy him. Smacks of a Levy money-ball purchase given his age. Hoping he turns into a £100m player for only a £40m outlay....
With the current front 4 plus Sess, there is no room in the starting lineup for Eriksen really, let alone his replacement. So either we buy someone better than Kane, Alli, Son or Moura, or we buy a squad player or someone with potential. I haven't seen enough of Locelso to determine whether his potential is worth the transfer fee and whether there maybe better options available in Jan for the money he commands. I reckon he's too small for Jose; he generally likes big powerful players
I suspect there is 0 chance of selling Eriksen he's going for a free at the end of the season. From Eriksen's POV, it's much better that he plays regularly and plays well, so as to attract the top clubs. If he's performing poorly or not at all, then clubs may look elsewhere in the summer. I'd be surprise if this isn't a conversation that has been had between Levy/Eriksen/Jose. TBF, although he's hardly been dynamic of late, he hasn't downed tools either. There were several occasions in the Bayern game when you could see him getting annoyed when passed to him went astray etc. I guess when you are on the pitch, you are still competitive regardless of what is happening off it (with some very notable exceptions that I'm sure we could all name). If he is still at the club in Feb and still getting selected, then I guess Jose still thinks he can make a contribution.
