That comeback simply doesn't happen under Poch.

Great team goal, not sure about Aurier spitting into the crowd during his celebration tho yuck
No, there’s never been a CL comeback under Poch, never rofl
oh dear, you reckon if you didn't sack Poch last week you would've won tonight?

No chance.

Dare I say it but it's something Poch would have never done. I always felt he left his changes way to late, even when things were obviously not working. Bringing a sub on at 85 minutes is pretty much useless, the game is done before they get a touch of the ball.
Agree entirely, Jose managed the game very well tonight I thought, with the subs and the timing. COYS. Only 2 games in however..

I thought he did the right thing you needed to get 2 goals and quick, was a brave but right move...
I'm sure Dier can understand as the most defensive midfielder why he was brought off at 2 0 when you had to get a result of some kind

My observation over the years watching Spurs at the Lane is that managers are more willing to make early changes, earlier into their tenure. Nevertheless, it was a positive, decisive change. Diet will understand and Eriksen will be loving the special treatment from the special one. Not too long before Moura reclaims his place on the subs bench. COYS!

Jose'll be working his magic to sort that out though.

Oh, I'm heading over to Aus in January. Anything else to avoid apart from fires, spiders, sharks, jellyfish, snakes, crocs and drop bears?
The heat mainly. Where are you off to? East coast is v different to West.

EDIT - Just seen you are over East.

Crocs, sharks, man-o-wars, man buns, spiders, snakes, bogans, hipsters, st coffee, traffic jams, flies, st beaches, pollution, fires, deconstructed food served on a shovel ..

Feels good to see them with a fighting spirit.

Move Rose on now though
he is more a liability than an asset.

He does indeed seem to refer to Kane as Kate and then seems to be suppressing a Life of Brian style giggle. hehe

One thing (there aren’t many) I’ve always admired about JM is his willingness to make pitch changes quickly.

No waiting until the 70th minute to make the same subs

I think you are going to recover well this season and possibly get 4th

Do you think Spurs would have beaten WHU and Olympiacos had Poch still been in charge?

WHU have been abysmal of late and aside from Bayern you had an easy UCL group.

No chance on 4th but top 6 could still be possible.

I really don't think we would have done, last night we would have gone 2 down and Poch would have done fk all about it until 10 minutes from full time.

West Ham were poor but Poch would have never started that side away from home so I'm confident both of those matches would have been a loss.

I still don't like him.

Just 9 points behind Chelsea in 4th and only 12 points behind Leicester in 2nd! With 75 points left to play for....

And you still have Man Utd (x2), Chelsea (x2), Man City and Leicester (at home) to play.

Because of the seedings there's not much difference in any group, the only arguably strong group is F.

Even if we eek out the new manager bounce till the end of the season, the way those two are playing it feels like there's too much ground to make up. Still, stranger things have happened.

But that's the thing. Nearly every team has a bit of a wobble at some part of the season and I cannot believe that Chelsea had theirs at the beginning of the season. . Most of the time 70-80 points is fine to get you into the top four and I think that's entirely achievable for you guys this season, even with the crap start.

Can't see Spuds getting a dime out of their 2 games with Utd.

Does that Valencia player get an assist as well as the goal for their second?
