With a couple of days of reflection, the substitution that Mourinho made seems all the more impressive.
Back in football after eleven months; first home game at his new club; first Champions' League game with his new team; two nil down in twenty minutes...
He ignored the potential pressure and judgement that drive a fear of failure and immediately stepped in to alter the dynamic - which ultimately, worked. Impressive stuff and a positive demonstration of the kind of 'in the zone' focus that delivers him trophy after trophy.

Nah, everyone was just following the script for the Amazon Documentary. The opponents were in on it too.Back in football after eleven months; first home game at his new club; first Champions' League game with his new team; two nil down in twenty minutes...

How would it go down in here if Poch ended up at Arsenal now they have sack Unai?
Looks like Wolves manager is fave atm though.
He was sacked. He's free to do what he wants. If he'd resigned from Spurs to go and take over at Arsenal, that would be a different matter.Looks like Wolves manager is fave atm though.
I really don't think he needs that complication in his life though!

Yeah tbh I cant see him going there he seems a decent guy, like you say not sure he needs to complication - would just be interesting to see if Arsenal went for him. I really don't think he needs that complication in his life though!
Speaking of Arsenal - they declared last nights crowd at the Emptycrates to be 49,149!
At one point the ball went in to the stands and someone had to go in and climb up and get it cos there was noone sat there to throw it back.
The authorities really should clamp down on this kind of misrepresentation. All clubs should report numbers of people through the turnstile not tickets sold.

Apart from our recent dip in form, Arsenal aren't a better club than us in recent times. What Poch has done over the last 5 years has given his status a tremendous boost to the point where he was being linked with the Real Madrid job. When he decides to go back to work, he can pretty much choose whatever club he wants so why would he go to Arsenal?
He'd also be aware he'd be hated forever by the Spurs fans, why would he do that to himself?
As for Aurier, disgusting behavior tbh. I could almost believe that the spit might have been accidental but he swore as well so in my mind it was intentional. Yes he's been getting a lot of stick from the fans lately but the simple answer to that is don't be so st. He only has himself to blame and gets paid A LOT of money to play football so should be prepared to get abuse when he doesn't perform as expected, taking his frustrations out on the fans is not on. I agree the club should have fined and banned the idiot for several matches.

It isn't Poch's style tbh, having avowed not to manage Barca after being with Espanyol for so long. I like Nuno and would have seen him at Spurs, had a big name not come along.Looks like Wolves manager is fave atm though.

I agree, its embarassing when you see clubs saying it was 50k and you can quite clearly see 20k empty seats in a 60k stadium At one point the ball went in to the stands and someone had to go in and climb up and get it cos there was noone sat there to throw it back.

Even that looks optimistic given the pictures going round.
CAN ADMINS OF THIS GROUP DO A BETTER JOB OF MONITORING WHO IS ALLOWED IN HERE PLEASE?! WE HAVE A NEW MEMBER, AN ELDERLY MAN. HE'S BEEN PRIVATELY MESSAGING MEMBERS, SENDING THEM NAKED PICTURES OF HIMSELF IN NASTY POSES ALONG WITH CLOSE UPS OF HIS UNMENTIONABLES.
HE IS OFFERING AN IPHONE 11 IN EXCHANGE FOR SEXUAL FAVORS. I AM ESPECIALLY BOTHERED BECAUSE IT TURNED OUT TO BE AN IPHONE 6 AND OBVIOUSLY SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH IT CAUSE ITS SUPER SLOW AND THE CAPS LOCK IS STUCK ON.

Sure I read somewhere that he’d stand to lose £12m if he takes another job in the next 11 months. It was in his contract apparently. Looks like Wolves manager is fave atm though.
Even if the Arse offered him a fat salary it would have to be a lot to offset the £12m loss.

I'm pretty sure they can't enforce a contract stipulation if they sacked him?Even if the Arse offered him a fat salary it would have to be a lot to offset the £12m loss.
