He decided to play the race card because he was unhappy with the chanting over his play Acting?
Are you asking a question or making a statement with this?

Hello Spurs fans! I have a relative visiting from abroad and we are looking to get a couple of match tickets for the Wolves game at 01 March. From looking at the football ticket selling sites like Livefootballtickets, Stubhub etc they are coming in at about £250 a pair! Is this realistically the only option for non members to get a couple of tickets?

PS - Good luck for the final 10 here!

Cheapest 94.99 per ticket on livefootball tickets at the moment?

For reference Wolves is a Cat B game - My 1882 season ticket (East upper, includes programme, food and drink) face value is £95 for that game.

Yes - but you have service fees of about £30 per ticket, which go up the more valuable the ticket. We don't mind paying these I guess and now you have confirmed the face value of the tickets is fairly near the ballpark of what is available then that's fair enough!

With reference to the food/drink stuff etc how does that work? I am guessing a lot of these tickets are resold via season ticket holders as you have to send tickets(cards) back afterwards.

Thanks for the reply - has helped out!

Only the 1882 season tickets come with food and drink - and there's less than 2000 of them so the overwhelming majority of season tickets don't come with food and drink. Typical season ticket prices for a Cat B game would be £50-£70. I can see some tickets on livefootballtickets which are marked as "VIP" tickets in the East Lower - these are Premium Seats which are corporate seats not season tickets and they come with "grazing food" before, during and after the game plus a free drink at half time and a cash bar before and after. I say cash - remember the Spurs stadium is completely cashless so everything is card only.
I'd be very surprised if you actually received someone's stadium access card - ticket resale is usually a printed PDF. The PDF has a bar code on it which the scanner on the gate can read.
It's a magnificent stadium well worth a visit - I would say there's not a poor seat view anywhere but given the awful football we're playing this season that's not the case hehe

I've just read that. It seems that after an exhaustive investigation including lip readers and technology there really is "nothing to see here".

The police have formally closed the case.

Brilliant news. Shame scumbag Rudiger won't get his just deserts.

So Chelsea not only had a racist fan arrested that day, rudiger also pulled the race card. Truly the vilest club in the land.

So what now ? Surely Rudigar must be told to apologise to the officials & the Spurs fans .

I’ve listened to a lot of live radio today but ive not heard this news broadcast anywhere ,

Seems everyone is quick to point fingers but not so quick to admit one’s mistakes .

He could have caused a riot there .

All the media who got involved in the witch hunt and those on here who were so quick to put the boot in should apologise too tbh but we know they won't.

I did on the Liverpool thread where I was discussing this with ascayman, but will do so here too.

Apologies to you spuddies for taking the reporting at face value and therefore assuming the chants were racist in my previous post. Very glad it was not the case.

As it's the internet and I'm a snowflake that refuses to take accountability for my actions I'm refusing to apologise.

Not sure what Rudiger has to apologise for ? He believed he heard racist chanting and did exactly what he was supposed to do. Are people here suggesting we take a step back and just ignore it in future, or maybe we need to wait until multiple players hear things and only then should it be taken seriously ?

I don’t doubt, for one moment, that the outcome here is a step backwards but the notion that he ‘just made it up’ is laughable, especially considering the point in time he did it - it’s not like he was in need of distracting away from the game - you lot were down to 10 men and Chelsea were coasting, why would he put himself through all this if he knew full well nothing had been shouted ?

There's a popular fable of 'the boy that cried wolf' that might adequately explain the grievance from most moderate individuals. He has previous. Time will tell.
