Sounds like a petulant tt. He's a footballer FFS, not a Syrian refugee.

I wonder what his ' very small salary' actually is?

Does it equate to more than the cleaners hourly rate I wonder?
Carras reply

I know Bobby & his family well, he’s young & at that age we all want everything right now. Played for the 1st team in pre season which is a great start & he should try & develop this season & maybe make the bench in Caraboa Cup. That should be the advice you’re giving him you (clown)

he has just turned 18
I have some sympathy, he's probably grown up around millionaire footballers but he needs a slap from reality. Most 18 year old apprentices are on what £4ph and play footie for fun, he'd do well to remember that.

I was just going to post that. Seems he conducted himself throughout like he was above the law too. What a tt. No sympathy.
It's his medication though!

Not sure why that would prevent giving a sample.....
Quite ironic he's up in front of the judge for a drink-drive offence after his despicable comments about Brian Clough's drinking.

Bloke is a tool of the highest order.

Can't really comment on Duncan's contract, I'm sure there is more to it than his agent is letting on, but at the same time we don't know the full facts and almost certainly never will.

Same agent as Berahino

Paul Tompkins is pretty spot on as usual

fking hell, the whole Bobby Duncan thing. Not being given what you want immediately when you want it is not bullying. Football is a competitive sport, not a divine right. Don't sign contracts if you don't like conditions. Mental health =serious issue and not to be bandied about

If the player has a serious mental health issue, then his agent going public (and pouring petrol on it all) is not going to help calm the situation. It's fking lunacy. Player already walked away from Man City when it suited him. If he needs help, help him - don't inflame it all

If Duncan needs mental health help, I hope he gets it. It's vital to us all. But it sounds like he needs a new agent too. There are so many leeches in the game who put short-term gains by their clients ahead of everything else. Good agents have the bigger picture in mind.

You'd think that Gerrard would have a word in his ear. Given that he's his cousin.

If Duncan thinks he should be involved with the 1st team he should have a look at our bench and see that CL winners (obviously), World Cup finalists and people who've played at the top level all over Europe, can't get in the 1st eleven.

As for his agent... A Gerald Ratner moment? My player has serious mental health issues so I want to pack him off to Italy where he doesn't know a soul and can't speak the language. That's the answer!

Imbecile.

Ditto. Sounds like its gone to his head a bit and he needs a sensible agent, not a money grabber.

As a footballer, who watches the stuff that went on with Sadio and his agent and then thinks "yup, that's the guy I want representing me".

To be fair, how long ago was that now? He'd have only been about 13/14.

I agree, spot on. Trivialises genuine mental health problems.

What accusations? Bullying?

If so, being told you're not going to be sold and you're not going straight into the first team is not bullying.

Yep the bullying and accusations that the club do not care for the lads mental health. If its true, then the club need to be held to account, if it is false then the agent needs to be held to account.

One of those situations where the whole story won't come out.

I am a bit surprised that cousin Stevie G hasn't had some words of wisdom to impart behind closed doors but have also read he hasn't had that much to do with him.

On the surface of it, there seems to be a bit of a problem with the agent's way of going about getting things done.

If he is struggling at all, I find it hard to believe that dropping him in to Fiorentina, Sampdoria or whatver, with a foreign language, culture and distance between him and his family and support network would be a good idea.

Unless his agent thinks he's ste and this is his big and best payday before he lets him rot in Italy.

What are the specific allegations? So far, as far as I can tell, he hasn't quite got his own way so has spent 4 days in his room?

I vaguely remember being 18, I can also vaguely remember being petulant, vain, impatient, anxious, surly and many other undesirable attributes. A, no one pandered to it and b, I grew out of most of it.

Sounds like a Balotelli in the making, if he's lucky.
