Merchant Payment Provider for CBD ecom business (high risk)

Hi

Client of ours has an ecom business which retails CBD products to the UK. Paypal shut them down. Stripe shut them down. Worldpay will not entertain...

Whilst we are vastly experienced within ecommerce this is the first time our company has assisted a CBD retailer or even anything deemed high risk

Looking into it in more detail this type of venture is classed as high risk for merchant payment providers as it falls into the same category as gambling, adult etc etc so your mainstream providers are off the list.

They've been speaking to a broker who seems confident of providing a solutions with next day settlement but the broker fee has led them to see if they can go direct.

It's wordpress, woo commerce and UK hosted.

Any recommendations in this sector guys and girls?

If so I'll email a few of our providers and see if any of them are interested. What is the card turnover per annum?

Yes that's it. Various products containing Cannabidiol - oils flowers vape additives etc etc

£65k per annum at the moment but seeing steady rise can't see it taking too long to get them to £100k p/a

Is that £65k of card charges, or £65k total sales, so card charges at 1% (for easy maths) say would be £650p.a.?

65k thru card in turnover mate, at current rate. Should increase in time

Used them before in a fashion ecom, had forgot about them tbh, just applied on behalf of client
