He couldn’t play on Saturday because he was injured.
However, he’s suffered from Stones return to form so he’ll have to fight hard to get back into a regular place. He seems quite realistic about this according to reports and I guess competition for places is what teams want.

Leeds played very well but, although we have a big squad, it wasn’t the strongest 11 especially at the back. Wednesdays Game is far more important
One thing that amazes me though is that some people think the red card wasnt deserved!
As a Leeds fan, that was a red. Cooper should know that challenges like that just aren't able to be made in the modern game. I think a lot of Leeds fans feel aggrieved about it compared to the Baldock challenge from last weekend which was worse than Coopers challenge on Saturday and there wasn't even a yellow given for it. No hiding the fact that it was still a red...One thing that amazes me though is that some people think the red card wasnt deserved!

Without looking it up I’ve no idea! Not that many considering how important his contribution was in previous seasons. As I said, Stones has really got back to form and he’s formed an outstanding partnership with Dias which is hard not to be the first choice. His time will come again especially as we’re still playing on 4 fronts.
Great second half performance from City there. Blimey, Foden's shot would have taken some stopping from any keeper, huge hit.
Big performance from KDB tonight, led by example. Impressed with several others too.
Hopefully Southgate will have watched the last five minutes and realised that Sterling is not the answer to many questions right now.

KDB was amazing 2nd half but missing in the first half. Almost like Man City had the old Fergie hairdryer at half timeBig performance from KDB tonight, led by example. Impressed with several others too.

Well not surprised the quadruple is no more, there’s a reason why no ones done it - it’s hard!
Chelsea were better but 8 changes doesn’t help.
More importantly, I hope KdB isn’t serious.that could be a real disaster.

Well played Chelsea. They were simply better than us for large parts of the game.

What would City give for a striker like Aguero.
Don't City already have a striker like Aguero?Missed this match, been having beers all day, sounds like you deserved to lose it. I don't think we'll ever see any team do the quadruple, it's so bloody difficult, no shame in failing, you got pretty close.
