Tbf, I’ve just had a look at City’s and Liverpool’s wages and apart from KDB ( 350k pw and worth every penny ) and Sterling (300k pw - not so sure) they look fairly similar. Aguero, who is arguably, the best foreign striker the PL has ever seen is “only” on 220 k pw.
Meanwhile, the majority of Leicester players are on well under 100k pw (apart from Vardy and Kasper)
Obviously I’ve got better things to do than to work out means and averages etc which may prove me wrong!)
That doesn't counter my point though, your best player is on 350k a week ours is 200k, we are one of the biggest clubs in the world with one of the biggest fan bases and make one of the most in revenue but someone comes in and offers a player 350k a week and he's on 200k theirs a chance his head is turned..Meanwhile, the majority of Leicester players are on well under 100k pw (apart from Vardy and Kasper)

We obide by FFP.. You don't
Pre Klopp arriving at Liverpool, in those wilderness years whilst signing the likes of Lambert; Liverpool fans would've welcomed Citys owners with open arms and enjoyed it raining oil money, winning trophies and leagues and not given a flying fk where the money was coming from. Much like fans of every other club in the land would have done

Is anyone saying that? And who wouldn't like to spend more? I'm not sure of your issues, no issue in spending if its within the rules... You guys simply tried to make your own rules giving you an unfair advantage... What can't you follow about that?
You agreed to the FFP then falsified sponsorship deals to allow you to obide by the rules...
Our owners spend about 25m a year, would I like that to be 50m course, would I like it to be 100m yep, so long as it was within the FFP and didn't bankrupt our club.

That's it then, no case to answer.
God help West Ham tonight

when liverpool have eliminated all 'cheating', then feel free to mount up. however, while half your team carry on tumbling more than simone biles, please be aware of the irony of the apparent indignation and judgement.
to quote you...... 'Our owners spend about 125m a year, would I like that to be more of course, would I like it to be 300m yep, so long as we can avoid FFP'

Hang on a minute, my team has been dismantled by clubs who were more of a pull than us, that's football...
Unless you pay the big money ie like you Do 350k a week for Kdb any prem club is at risk...
But we'll never be able to afford to pay a player 350k, because our fanbase isn't big enough and nor is our global recognition. So other bigger teams will always have the advantage over us in terms of what they can pay players (unless we somehow manage to get top 4 for about 10 seasons in a row).Unless you pay the big money ie like you Do 350k a week for Kdb any prem club is at risk...

The same Leicester who are currently 1 point behind Man City and several points ahead of Chelsea, Spurs, Utd, Arsenal, etc? They seem to be coping OK with having players poached.
All four of those clubs are playing pretty poorly at the moment, whereas we went on a 10 game run where we smashed everyone. We'll see if we're consistantly above those clubs over the next few years, as they can always spend more money than us due to revenue (the only exception being if we keep getting CL and they don't)Would you say Liverpool is one of the biggest clubs? Our max weekly wage is 200k, I imagine yours is not far behind, we are at risk of being poached of players as we won't pay the billionaires wages of 350k a week

Probably not much point looking at City's wage bill considering they've just been banned from the Champions League for 2 years, largely because they keep half their players wages off the books by paying their image rights through 3rd parties...
do you remember this post by you..... 'Nearly all of us are trying to have a reasoned debate regarding one of the biggest football stories in recent years.' but you seem to have slipped into tedious wumming prick mode.can't help yourselves. if this was the other way around, most of us would have been banned from your thread by now. but carry on, it's fun.

There's an element of truth to what I've wrote though. What's the point in comparing wage bills when you've been found guilty of mis-reporting yours?

not sure why that response was required, if the numbers I posted are only half the story that is a relevant contribution(not saying its true or not, I wasn't aware)
Jammy - was that part of the current UEFA enquiry? got a link please?
