Blue Moon is by far the worst of the loony lot. RAWK is the loony bin for Liverpool fans, but I haven't seen a fan forum as bat st as Blue Moon.

Speaking of batst, where's mike69?

I realise it's a bit of a nothing game, but City are laying down a marker for next season.

Pep will be delighted.

You guys play like this in 8 games out of 10 and have done all season.

The annual Liverpool choke has come a bit to late this season to help us wink

Glorified friendly tbh and I’m not taking ithe result very seriously but I will sleep contentedly tonight.

If you’re going to lose it might aswell be from a wonderful goal like that (even if a mistake offered the opportunity). Easily the most entertaining game today even though it’s been more than frustrating.

Based on your recent performances, one is of the conviction that Utd will be the eminent force in next season's title race, not Citeh.

Might achieve something in the league this season.

Double digit defeats.

Saints fan here. Clearly I am pleased with the win and the way we competed and it was a great finish to beat your team tonight. I know it was like a cup final to us and not to you but I was proud of our organization and heart as well as some of the chances we created.

Clearly you had more of the ball but it's good to see the quality your team has and if anything you looked a little flat tonight vs the game vs Liverpool which is understandable

Yes, rather a frustrating night for us, Southampton were excellent and fully deserved their win.

Some days it just does not happen.

In the grand scheme of things, the result doesn't matter fortunately.

I'm not here to WUM but, in the Prem this season, City haven't won more than three consecutive games and haven't gone unbeaten for more than five. That's despite all the 8-0, 6-1, 5-0 and 4-0 wins. What's happened to the consistency we'd expect?

It’s been discussed an awful lot but it probably boils down to a perfect storm of long term injuries to key players leading to a constantly changing back line up and players being forced to play out of position combined with no replacement for Kompany made worse by injuries in that area and players like Stones being woefully out of form plus many other combining factors.

4-0 humping sorry.

I thought Mahrez's goal at the end, stood.

I think by then the only thing that was standing was your third leg.
