Interesting Twitter thread on the upcoming CAS ruling and the consequences of: https://twitter.com/realadammcohen/status/12802753...
I think the most likely option is the verdict will be upheld, but the punishment reduced.

To be honest I’m a bit sick and bored of this hanging over us..I think the most likely option is the verdict will be upheld, but the punishment reduced.
If we are guilty then let’s see what will happen, take the punishment and move on.
At the end of the day all we did was spend our own money to Be able to get where we are today. This has happened time and time again in the history of football but now its against the rules. Whether this intentionally keeps the elite at the top and stops other teams challenging is up for debate. I know what I think.
I’m more interested in the football and we are easy on the eye at the moment. It’s not that long ago that joey Barton was our best player!
At the end of the day, let’s be honest, it’s not like anyone’s died because of this.
Anyway, it’s nice to see Jesus back from the score sheet. I think there is at least one more for him tonight

But that's just it, you didn't spend Man City's money. You misrepresented sponsorship deals to allow the club to be state funded. If we are guilty then let’s see what will happen, take the punishment and move on.

As you say, we'll have to see what the decision is in a weeks time.
From what I've seen of everyone else commenting everyone believes you're guilty but that you'll get away with it because "money talks".

And there ,you go. Without having seen alll the evidence first hand you already have already made your mind up about guilt. I don’t really want to discuss it any further tbh., it’s got very little to do with me, I can’t he explain it, I had no involvement in it and what evhejr the outcome I’ll still be going.
Champions League next season for you boys then.
I'll be honest I don't agree with FFP, I think it's a farce to keep the big clubs at the top. However, football is definitely corrupt, right from the very top downwards, it's become so obvious this season.
Saying that, I do hope you win the CL this year, always liked you as the noisy neighbours and you gave hope to the smaller less successful clubs that one day a sugardaddy might take them over and take them to the very top.
