As I suspected ( wink ), a very tough test. The Hammers were excellent but we were better!

Trying to jinx myself there didn't work. Back to the drawing board.

KDB obviously not match fit yet and Sergio not the start I was hoping to see after his lengthy periods out. Sterling & B.Silva impact clearly missed. However a win is a win.. thought we were heading for a draw for a while there. Don’t go on the LFC thread, there’s a few on there nearly crying because we are doing what they did last season. Unbelievable bitterness. crycrycry

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that MC might win the league this year.
Still thinking it.

Another great performance, although we did have a bit of a scare early on in the second half when Wolves scored.

I think it's fair to say the league is sewn up now,(But knowing City anything can happen) the CL has to take priority, we will never have a better chance,

You can see how well the players get on together, it's a real team effort, Pep must be delighted.

Didn’t think it should’ve been a free kick that lead to the Wolves goal, but no problem. Absolute stars all over the pitch for City. Even the likes of Stones.. who was dead & buried.. on his way out. Wow! Mahrez.. just gets better. Jesus showing real quality now. Not sure I can really see a way back into the side on a regular basis for Sergio, even though he’s 5 years younger than Vardy!
One thing for sure.. if we do win the league rolleyes I’m sure we will make a proper champions defence of the title, next season. hehe

Lets be honest though, IF we were to win 4 trophies this season the goal posts for us being “one of the greatest” teams ever would be moved yer again rolleyes

Because no one likes the way you go about doing it.

I'm assuming 'no-one' just means Man Utd fans?

Sure, I could see why. I'm an extremely casual city fan by basically having an enforced choice between red and blue (and going blue) at school back in the day hehe but it seems like exceptionally sour grapes, given their domination when they were the richest clubs.

Its the same reason to dislike chelsea/psg though. Not really the clubs money rather just a rich owner playing FIFA in real life.

The Boot is firmly on the other foot now. So those cocky, arrogant red B*stards who took the p!ss out of the likes of City, & sung songs about City winning f*ckall are now getting some of their own medicine. And long may it last. bow Pep and Sheik Mansour. cloud9

Maybe because I have been paying less attention as I think football is a bit of a damp squib without fans, but, the stealth of this run you guys have put together seems to be quite staggering, its just like it happened without anyone really noticing. Probably aided by everyone paying more attention to the hilarious implosion of the "Dynasty"

laugh City had the same players at the beginning of the season and were losing and drawing matches... nobody mentioned City then. Not until Pep got the team performing as a unit and winning did the sour grapes appear. biggrin[url]

This sort of article is a really nice thing for a player to say. Sums up what sort of club MCFC is now.
