one can only assume so. Scoring Englands only goal so far virtually guarantees his place in the staring line up from that moment on, despite doing nothing else of remark in either game. I don't think Southgate knows what he's doing. He's got a raft of talent available and still manages to produce a ponderous, boring, uncreative team performance by selecting the wrong players every game.With any luck, we'll get knocked out early on and get a new manager in time for the world cup.

Ridiculous but I suppose that’s the English inflation for you.

I seriously hope the links with Kane are a joke or have at the very least been reconsidered since the Euros started. For one, I don’t think he’s a good fit and will end up like Zlatan at Barca and 2 he’ll be overpriced also

Kane - no, to injury prone
Haaland - maybe, would be a good fit but we did contain him quite successfully in the CL so I wouldn’t be to worried if he went to, say, Chelsea.

Need to put some effort in to retain Bernie Silva and LaPorte who, it seems, want out!
More of a risk to lose these two, than trying to fit another midfielder or striker in to the Pep way
