Genuinely think Pep ought to consider getting shot of Sterling in this window. He was awful today, shackled by Tanganga to the point where he was subbed early.
Not sure what fee you'd get but you could get equal or better for not much more. He was dire towards the end of the season but somehow managed to improve (quite impressively) in the Euros, but today he stunk the place out bar one or two moments.

Isn't Stirlings good performance in the Euros because Kane was seen as the danger man and had two people marking him, hence giving him space and time, and he took advantage. Ukraine then thought he was the danger man and put two on him, giving Kane space and Kane started scoring, assists, being influential...Not sure what fee you'd get but you could get equal or better for not much more. I thought Stirling/Grealish down the wing would give spurs troubles and they did for 20 mins but then a reshuffle sorted the issue. It's a promising way for city to go though with pace down the wing.
profligate infront of goal again, one or more of the fernandinho, cancelo or mahrez chances go in (none of them that difficult at that level), it's a totally different game. spurs deserved the points, but primarily because of city deficiencies on the day rather than dazzling themselves.

As a Spurs fan, I’m inclined to agree. Might have been a different story if KDB had played from the start, but thankfully Pep chose not to do so. Grealish getting booked for accusing Moura of diving was a highlight for me though. Even the commentator used the term pot, kettle, black.

Would be interesting to see what he's worth on the open market. Not sure what fee you'd get but you could get equal or better for not much more. He did have a good Euros but just can't see him making much of an impact at most other clubs that don't serve up 10 good chances to him each game.

I’m very glad that the Kane nonsense seems to have fallen by the wayside but I’m even less keen on the idea of Ronaldo coming to be honest.
I’m also not keen on United's apparent interest in Mancini but I’m very confident this is just dodgy Italian reporting, hopefully.
United's interest in who? I’m also not keen on United's apparent interest in Mancini but I’m very confident this is just dodgy Italian reporting, hopefully.
First I've heard of it and hopefully the last.
There’s a rumour that is that he is wanted to replace Ole.

Fairly sure it’s nonsense but, tbh, he had more success at Old Trafford than a lot of the recent Utd managers.

I thought you lot would be more likely to be in the running for Lewandowski, when the media rumour mill kicked in a week ago 'quoting him' as saying he wanted a new challenge, followed by Pep saying next question please when asked about it in his press conference last week, seemed to me that the pursuit of Kane had thus ended at that point Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
