You must be pleased Liverpool having to toil an extra 30 minutes in this blistering heat.

really, really wan't the 3 points tomorrow to effectively wrap things up. very thin on centre back cover at the moment, but hopefully the attack can do what they do and overwhelm the hammers' defence.

could well have to start with rodri and one of the academy lads at centre back.

I’m not confident about a win against West Ham. The days of 5 goal wins have gone now with them and they’ve got the players to take advantage of our centre back problems.
Although the odds are definitely in our favour at the moment I must admit I’m surprised at the number of Liverpool fans on here who’ve thrown in the towel already.
Ffs united beat them twice this season ,cock it up and you don’t deserve to win the title .

why on earth did mahrez take the pen when the guy who stuffed it into the onion bag 4 times in the last game was on the pitch?

i'll take 2-2 though. very nearly 'typical city'

You read my post.

Searched "typical Manchester City" to see what number result it was on Google.

Then came back to PH and wrote a sarcastic reply.

All that instead of just answering the question.

Well done you.

There was a survey on Bluemoon a few years back, and when asked which club would you support if you didn't support City?.....West Ham won easily.

Mahrez should not be taking penalties, seems to not have a great record, missed a few for us too.

A point is the main thing, least it's still in your own hands, just need a win against Villa, which won't be easy with Gerrard as their manager. Hopefully Liverpool slip up against Southampton tomorrow evening, but very much doubt it.

Come off it, do you look like losing and drawing your last two games?
The faux modesty is a little boring laugh
Always expect the unexpected with City.

One thing I've learnt over the last sixty years. biggrin
I think the CIty of the last 10 years don't have a great deal of the DNA of the team you supported for the prior 50

Haaland will be on them next season- his record is scored 24 missed 2. To be fair to Mahrez he has scored a few this season and I wouldn't have been any more confident if one of the others had a go.

Class record that.

Excited to see how he gets on, think it'll take him time to adapt and he'll need 18 months or so until we see the best of him.

couldn't really ask for a better final day opponent. 13th place, safe from relegation and hopefully mentally on the beach, so to speak. not sure the gerrard thing as much to do with it, and at the end of the day liverpool flogged coutinho so don't see that he owes them anything.

still it's city, so it's probably not going to be straight forward!
