VAT and digital software

I’m new to vat having just registered last month. It’s for my wife’s salon and we have worked out the best way to go is to use the flat rate scheme.

My question is, which software should I be using for flat rate vat to satisfy the making tax digital requirements?

Is it easy to do?

Any other thought you may have that could help me out regarding vat.
