Harry’s LapTimer with gopro5 black - help!

Hi guys,

I have a GoPro hero 5 black and have also bought Harry’s lap timer petrolhead edition. My car has an obd2 for throttle etc.

I’ve done the video through my iPhone8 and well the stabilisation leaves a lot to be desired.

Is there a way of using the GoPro to take the video via the app?

Please be specific ?? otherwise I will get it wrong!

If your go pro has GPS let it take the video and merge the data with the obd2 data using HP turner's Racerenderer software

I use a slightly older Go Pro Hero 4 with Harrys Laptimer Grand Prix edition and it works fine - just remember to sync camera and laptimer (wifi) before you head out on track - there is an option in the laptimer software to select external cam. Then once you have recorded the footage/data, you have to overlay it - see the manual for specifics.
