If McTom and Fred can stay in midfield then we can push Pogba forward and play more as a 10. Remove some of the defensive work and let him have a free role.
That’s apparently the plan.

It can't be a coincidence that your two best performances and results for some time came with pogba being no where near the team.

I can't believe some are still yearning for him. He's treated the clip appallingly imo.

So did lots of the worst performances. Pogba has been out since the start of October not just the last two matches.

Pogba on it is awesome, he just apparently can't be arsed a lot of the time, it's infuriating

I guess what remains to be seen is the reason, if he wants to go I suspect something will happen in Jan. If it's because he was being played out of position and giving him that floating 10 roles engages him then fk it see what happens with Fred and McSauce behind him

If he performs as he can and wants to be a prima donna tt I can live with it more than just being a tt

Interesting that an article was doing the rounds about Keano doing a talk at training and one player giving him the hump with his attitude, PP was the first thought tbh

Saw that. Very sharp from Shaw!

Another bloody tough one on Sunday new manager bounce....Everton were unstoppable on Saturday I watched it with my other half, she an Everton fan. Will it 2 steps forward one step back or have we turned a corner with regards consistency.

Should be a very interesting game.

Can see us dropping points against Everton, the teams we're 'supposed' to be beat are the ones we struggle with. I think as it is at the moment, we thrive being the underdog.

Hopefully we can push on and get a run of wins in.

I think we’ll beat Everton. They’ll come at us all guns blazing, so will leave gaps at the back. Also, there’s a chance they’ll tire themselves out. However, that will only happen if we’ve got the lead, otherwise they’ll run on adrenaline.

I hope so. We need to capitalise on the recent Chelsea wobble and keep winning. Plus Jose will get spurs consistent quickly.

It’ll be the kids again tomorrow night so rest for Mctominay Rashford and Fred, I doubt Lingard will be involved he was pretty good, finally, against Spurs and Liverpool. Cannot believe the transformation in Fred.

Starts for Greenwood, Tuanzebe, Williams, Romero

Who needs Pogba when you’ve got Lingard and Pereira?

Heaven help us! It’s impossible for him not to improve the side greatly when he returns.

We’ve had two excellent performances but have been mostly terrible.

Not if he stands on the ball and dicks about. Lingard has been ok last two games but Pogba is an upgrade if he’s on it. Obviously.

Pogba is an upgrade playing at 50%, if we’re honest about it.
Lingard is typically abysmal.

You discount two facts. Often he’s not even at 50 %, and secondly, when he’s being bossed by the opposition, he’s a massive drag on the team.

It’s no real coincidence our best performances are often when he doesn’t play.

And so are the worst. There are ten in a team, if one doesn’t perform he shouldn’t bring the whole team down, if that one does perform they can lift the other 10 though.

Under OGS, I would say Pogba has been one of our best players. Very few bad games and quite a few very good ones.

Also, we've been pretty poor up to recently and he hasn't been playing for us for some time. It'd be interesting to see what he can do in the 'new' team. However, I do doubt that his 'I'm playing today, oh I can't be bothered playing today' attitude will change but let's see.

Strong rumours going round of us signing Haland for 20 million in January...bargain if that’s the case. He’s a goal machine!

He’s going to Leipzig for 18 months before his big move, probably to Juve is what I’ve seen rumoured.
