What i loved about Boyo James yesterday was his running at pace at the terrified VVD & Fabiniho and making an assist for Rashford; the Liverpool defence could do fk all about it.
Glad you enjoyed your FA Cup Final.

This is the best Liverpool side certainly in past 30 years, and probably best Liverpool side ever, filled to the brim with some of the world's most expensive players, and with a humongous wage bill; and they couldn't beat the worst Man Utd team in over 30 years which is injury ravaged rofl
Your team is paid more, also has some of the worlds most expensive players, and we almost have 3x your points total. It's great you're ok with things as they are, smile

And if you look what Klopp said he said they defend each year - but that's up to them. It's not a lack of class, just an observation.

Hmmm

Thought you played well yesterday and raised your game considerably from its usual standard, and Ole did well with the tactics. We were very poor for 75% of the game. We didn't adjust quickly enough by bringing on Ox or Keita earlier. No point JK complaining about your tactics - they were not a surprise and we have to deal with it. You defended pretty well throughout and showed good discipline.

The game was its usual scrappy affair, we began to dominate the last 20 or so and had the game had an extra 10 mins we might have nicked it. Overall a draw was a fair result as borne out by the stats - we had 66% possession and 4 shots on target vs your 2.

Rashford looked very good and James play-acting was amusing.

You would have taken a draw before the game, we wouldn't - we ended up being relieved at a draw, and on the balance of play you should be happy too, particularly given your decent performance, and the dodgy VAR on your goal.

Agree with most of that ,thought United were the better team for 70 mins but then either fatigue or ole’s tactical change didn’t do us any favours

Play acting?

James got hammered twice, the second time enough to draw blood, yet you think it was a dodgy Var decision when your player throws himself on the floor after Iindelof tickled his calf?

If Origi stayed on his feet then there is every chance he puts pressure on Mctominay and he does not make the pass to James, but no, he throws himself on the floor instead…
James got tackled fairly and robustly. No problem with him going down but the camera clearly picked out him having a sneaky look and then realising Liverpool were breaking he stays down, something your manager praised him for before.

Origi made a meal of it of course, but it was clearly a foul, as everyone including Neville agreed. All players go down when kicked to ensure the ref gives the foul. United players then broke at speed, I doubt Origi would have caught up with play starting from the floor.

I think a fly bumping into him would have sent Origi over based on that ‘tackle’

Let's not forget that their best paid player doesn't even play for Utd! In fact he's one of the best paid players in the Premier League and doesn't play in this country.

And then you have Pogba hobbling in on crutches looking like an injured rapper when he should have been in his ManU gear to be part of the squad!
SAF would never put up with that SH$T.

I didn't like Origi's over-reaction but it was a clear kick to the calf and a foul

Ref didn't see it and VAR was spineless as usual

Was correct with the Mane handball, though not keen on the handball rules either

heheclap

Ashley Young has lots of previous for diving, think Juan Mata got ridiculed for a dive, Daniel James has already got two yellows this season for diving and when he was at Old Trafford, Ander Herrera used to specialise in rolling around like he'd been poleaxed after he'd been "fouled."

Truth is, United are just the same as many other sides but when that's the case, their fans cannot give out the stick when they are just as guilty.

All true. But it’s a bit silly to bang on about a ‘foul’ that was actually a cringe-inducing dive.

Adam & GLOVER, if you want to be philosophical about it, then yes, diving is not confined to Liverpool players

The only people saying it was a foul are former professional footballers, commentators and pundits.

Think Roy Keane is right (for once)....

An audacious bid for Kane in summer would be lovely jubly.

Aside from money, why would he move to Utd? We’re as bad as Spurs.

It was a foul on Origi - ie at the Gareth Bale School of Theatrics (ie there was contact) - did he need to go down? No. So not surprised it wasn't given or that it wasn't overturned. Ref was on the spot and judged it as not a foul, so get on with the game. The fact they scored from it is moot. Good movement (for once) from Rashford and average defending.

As soon as they showed the replay for the Mane goal, it was clear VAR would chalk it off. Poor defending from Lindelof though, but De Gea knew ...

United played well in the first half and surprised Liverpool but faded badly - whether that was fitness, or Ole's tactic to pass the bus, who knows?

There'll not be that many games (or maybe there will?) where Utd attack the Stretford End in the second half and hardly get over the halfway line (or that's how it seemed).
