Probably good news for fans I'd say. Worsening club financials I imagine would spell the end of Woodward eventually.Has all the Green and Gold st about these guys stopped ??? rinsing your club for money

We used cash reserves for transfers hence the “net debt” increasing. Gross debt remains unchanged. There are far smarter blokes onbherebHas all the Green and Gold st about these guys stopped ??? rinsing your club for money

As for the green and gold they fked off and formed Fc United of Manchester so have a new team to follow.
The rinsing the club for money line is amusing when we remain amongst footballs biggest spenders and payers. Our problem isn’t lack of cash it’s spending it wisely.....

So basically there is no issue with the owners now as far as you're concerned? As for the green and gold they fked off and formed Fc United of Manchester so have a new team to follow.

The stadium is getting tired but it’s an old girl and if the rumours of a new build close in Trafford park and turning OT into a museum and stadium venue are true they’ll be forgiven that as well.
It is obviously possible to believe both that the Glazers are terrible owners and that they have in fact provided sufficient money for the club to be in a much better place.
Last summer was overly frugal, that's for sure. If big money is not spent next summer, then we will know there is inadequate funding available. Up to now, our problem has been wasting the money we do spend.

Nope. They’ve never denied the club funds. It’s not the glazers fault a string of poorly selected managers and Ed have wasted it.

Stadium will be key - like you said a few of my pals who has STH's have said its really tired now and in need of a fair bit spending on it - never heard you were looking at a new ground that would take some dollar The stadium is getting tired but it’s an old girl and if the rumours of a new build close in Trafford park and turning OT into a museum and stadium venue are true they’ll be forgiven that as well.

Last summer the writing was on the wall for Jose. Hence being frugal! There is nothing wrong with the clubs finances whilst the income still breaks records. But to redevelop current OT any further involves a feat of engineering that’s prohibitively expensive for the capacity gains. It’s has had the disabled section and other access points improved this last 12 months at a cost of over 20m. A new build is the only way.
It's a shame that OT has nearly reached the end of it's life but as AMG said it would be monumental engineering needed to go over the railway line and is it just easier to build new "next door". As much as I love OT and the history it has...a new world class stadium would be incredible!
I'm on the fence when it comes to the Glazers. I don't like how they've taken so much money out of the club (which as owners they're entitled to do!) but it appears from the outside that they have never denied the club funds to buy players either! I'm firmly in the camp that Woodward is useless when it comes to to the football side of things and that should have been handed over to a DOF years ago but his ego won't allow it.
Big Jan and Summer ahead of us....

It's not really down to Woodward's ego. He needs support of the board to remain in position and it's the board who agree the strategy. His continuation insinuates the board's support. Without it, he could have all the ego in the world and he'd still be out on his ear.
To bring results on the pitch the club needs reform of the board/sporting structure, which may or may not require a change of ownership. I would have thought now is peak time to sell, when the Premier League is still popular worldwide, the club is worth several times what the owner paid for it and a new owner coming in will see ample opportunity to improve the value of the club further (ironically, the poor on pitch performance may enhance what someone is prepared to pay).
