Deltona has infested the Wolves thread.

He's expelled flatulence of putrid pestilence therein.

Any truths in the rumors we are looking to sign Llorente?
No idea, but I would be in favour.
2 goals in last 36 appearances - surely youre better than that?
Those stats don't look right. You sure about that?

Nope. We don’t have any recognised strikers beyond Rashford and Martial. We are desperate.
Crikey.
Other than mason greenwood of course who is potentially one of the best young strikers we've had in a long time.

True. But potential does not butter any toast.

A bit knee jerk from ORD for me. Rashford has scored more than Ronaldo at this point in his career and is improving with every game. Martial is on the cusp of greatness. I’m over the moon he is still with us. They will both be fantastic this season and they’ve started well.

As for greenwood. A different gravy. The best to come through the ranks possibly ever. He’s that good.

All true but that’s 2 strikers plus one future star. You need at least 4 strikers.

I’m feeling like the attack might click into place today and run riot. Unfortunately I reckon we’ll lose the clean sheet to a silly error.
4-1, maybe 5-1

Guaranteed one medium term injury for at least one of them, so 2 becomes 1 for a time.
You also need to factor in rotation for fatigue and form.
Having literally no strikers on the bench that have ever scored a PL goal is reckless.
If any other side had this lack of options, we would say they stand no chance over 38 games.

A win and a clean sheet is what I'm looking for.

And maybe confidence boosting performances from subs Fred and Sanchez.

We’re 2 games in and 2 goals a piece for Rashford and Martial and hopefully more for both today. Yes it’s a bit thin but I’d rather we have those 2 getting a chance than bring in some ageing journey man. Gomez and Greenwood will be adequate support.

Not sure how you guarantee an injury but if so then Greenwood gets his chance. Just like Rashford. That worked out alright.

Anyway it’s cracking the flags in Manchester I’m off for a pre match beer. Enjoy the game fellas.

3-0 please Ole. One each for rash and tony and mason to bag one from the bench.

How the fk has the BBC Sport website failed to register that Daniel James shot as an effort on target?
It was going on but for the clearance off the line.
