When I think of PP my first thought is “Give him time” he’s relatively new.
Then I realise he has been at United for THREE AND A HALF YEARS!!
If he were going to be a really good player (forget about a great) we’d have seen it delivered consistently.
.
i think that's his challenge. He can be absolute world class but he can go AWOL too and has a lazy style of play which makes him look like hie's not trying. It's all well and good saying he should leave but if you were another club you may be thinking 'Well, he was ok at Utd, injured a lot of the time and only shone occasionally, do we want someone like that?' Probably, but not worth paying too much for either. Then I realise he has been at United for THREE AND A HALF YEARS!!

Based on how he and his agent have been acting, I wouldn’t want to take him on at my club and especially for a huge fee. If he wants the move then he’s going to have to up his game to put himself in the window for clubs to come in for him in summer which would benefit us so potentially a win win!uk66fastback said:
The difference is that the two players you mention were never really linked with many other clubs ... and while being decent enough players, they're not really world beaters.
Sancho can have the pick of the clubs I would think. He may choose you of course, but currently, what would make you appeal to him above other clubs?
AWB is the best defending right back in the league and his attacking play is coming on leaps and bounds. City were in for Maguire but he chose us.Sancho can have the pick of the clubs I would think. He may choose you of course, but currently, what would make you appeal to him above other clubs?
People seem afraid that United are on the come back and doing things properly. Good

Because a load of ex city and Liverpool players talking st on tv doesn’t mean players aren’t interested in playing for United ,the reality is united are still one of the most prestigious teams in the world .Sancho can have the pick of the clubs I would think. It seems we can only attract utterly unheard of players from Portugal and those only interested in joining united as they’re st British players no one else wanted. What’s really funny is it would appear the folk writing this appear to actually believe it.
Another solid win. Bruno should be st hot next season once we’ve adapted to his style and ability more.

People want to win things though, so unless you are at least solid CL qualifiers every season you'll experience the Julian Dicks experience that Liverpool did; players going elsewhere because it's not all about the history. For what it's worth, I think you'll get the CL place (even after Man City dodge their ban) so my point may be moot.

I think it’s more about selling a vision to a player ,based on what is being said for example if united don’t qualify for the champs league ,but LEICESTER do than players will prefer to sign for Leicester (no offence Leicester fans ) than United .For what it's worth, I think you'll get the CL place (even after Man City dodge their ban) so my point may be moot.
Do you genuinely believe that ?

Sancho haha. No chance. More likely you will extend igahlo!!
So if we get champions League.. we have the money. You think he wouldn't want to come to Manchester United? Probably said same about Maguire and AWB.
I'd agree we may not be favourites... But saying no chance is a comical uneducated reply.
Either way I have confidence in OLE's recruitment

What's Dortmund got to do with Sancho and where HE wants to go? Dortmund can do nothing about it if they're offered the same money.
It’s just a straw to clutch at. Here’s one of the most famous shirts in world football*, worn by the likes of Best, Robson, Cantona, Beckham, Ronaldo fancy following in those footsteps? At the biggest club in the UK? That will turn you into a global superstar?
No thanks there’s a club up the road who’s manager used to be at this club I’m currently at I’ll go there instead.
Liverpools draw is their current position not that Klopp used to be a Dortmund.
- also worn by balon d’or winner Michael owen and a rat faced Argentinian and a mercenary from Chile.

Not at all, the CL is one part of the package. There isn't much of a package except history and loads of money and the Sanchos of this world can pick and choose; he's not blind and knows the history but unfortunately the recent history is far too clear in everyone's mind, including his. So, money and the shirt or money and honours - young decent players are ambitious these days.

I'd be very surprised if we got Sancho, like others have said he could pretty much walk into any side in the world right now so why would he pick United?
If you assume he is going to be 80-100mThat limits the amount of clubs that can buy him to 5-6 in the World?
Say he wants the PL then its Liverpool, City or Utd
Depends there was he wants, Liverpool are obviously very attractive at the moment but he wouldn't displace Salah so he's looking at a season or 2 as a sub working his way in/waiting for Salah to move
City could be in a dire state depending on what happens with the ban, he'd probably displace Mahrez but is Pep staying? Would he get a chance?
He could come to us, where he'd automatically be one of our best players, guaranteed time, can help take us back up the table

United are such a big club, everyone knows the state they are in and have been. Someone bang in the middle of the industry will know even better, so no I don't know him but it's not hard to see his side of things.
I dare say he will look at a combination of things including money, prestige, manager, CL, prospects, location and general vibe/feel of the clubUnited are always going to be on a shortlist due to money and prestige as will all the big EPL clubs, and probably top the list still on those two.
Location is personal to the player, he is English so UK clubs might appeal more relative to Spanish or Italian clubs than a South American player. He is a London so who knows he may prefer Chelsea, Arsenal or Spurs
I think the manager, and the current trajectory of the club pays a big part - clubs go up and down, and managers leave frequently, so imagine players look at the next 2 or 3 years only.
Don't think Ole has much pull (and could be replaced), Arteta and Lampard are TBC for example, Pep great but might be off
at least with clubs like United you know any performance issues can be addressed by chucking huge sums of money at it
