2019 PL sack race..... who gets the chop first...?

Which team bins off their manger first this Year? I usually post a poll, but this year just want opinions, as I can’t see that many obvious candidates.

No I meant enough obvious candidates to do a poll. It’s usually 9 names and an ‘other’ option with these threads.

Yes, he’s probably a big candidate, but then again you have the Ashley angle. He seems to want Newcastle in the championship. Can’t see any other reason for giving Bruce a job. I guess getting promoted after going down is better for the club than staying up but not winning or qualifying for anything.

Lampard has a challenge ahead too.

Steve Bruce looks the favourite at this point. However Leicester have Chelsea, Sheffield Utd and then Newcastle in the cup, all away. If they haven't won a game after those fixtures Brendan Rodgers could well be off to his second home, the job centre.

If OGS doesn't have United in or close to the top 4 come the New Year, he'll be under significant pressure.

Lampard has the transfer ban excuse and United won’t want to turn into Chelsea - so both will be given time

It will be a club near the bottom, Villa I suspect after what they’ve spent

Losing Hazard on top of the transfer ban must lower expectations. Lampard only got the job due to circumstances. I can't see many big name replacements will want the job with the current situation.

Chelsea won't dump him unless it's a real disaster.

Maybe not the first sacking but if Oli does not get Man U in the top 4 and competing before Christmas then I think he will be gone. To be replaced with Poch who has done a lot of public moaning to the media lately.

I agree OGS will get time, as will Lampard but I don't see either club being anywhere other than fringes of top four.

Hodgson? Palace have Man U away this weekend, could potentially be three games, no goals and one point.

No chance they’ll get rid of Hodgson, he’s saved them before from a far worse position and you don’t get rid after losing to one of the top 6 teams, it tends to be when you lose to a team battling relegation with you. 3 games is way too early anyway, unless the manager has fallen out with the Chairman in a big way.

All the talk of Lampard / Solskjaer is way off the mark IMO. Both will be given time and both are steeped in the club’s methods which is what both clubs need.

Should have been clearer, wasn't saying Hodgson would be sacked after 3, just it's a poor start and they've just lost to a promoted team. Seems if you stop Zaha you pretty much stop Palace.

He was never the man for the job. He's out of his depth at this level. I don't see Man Utd giving him that long to improve. They can't afford to. He started off well, but things are going from bad to worse.
