Stupid commentator - saying pushing someone to the ground shouldn't rule out the goal as they didn't get the touch. Well, yes, but it could well be the player on the ground would have got a touch if they hadn't been pushed!

I don’t get this, I am watching it on Sye TV and it was a clear push which anywhere else on they pitch is given without question, Sherwood, Owen and commentator all said VAR was correct

But everyone on BT Sport are saying it wasn’t, eh?

Yup, I think my feed is NBSC or something. One of the commentators said VAR was wrong to rule it out for the foul. Then 2 minutes later said it was a foul on Cahill by Firmino after Cahill jumped in front of him and then fell over!

Kevin Kilbane on the BBC football feed - "That’s a joke. Jordan Ayew runs into Dejan Lovren but that does not influence the goal.

That’s where the referee needs to see to the side-line and look at it. And that is what's killing the VAR this season."

I don't know how anyone can say that it wasn't foul, or influenced the play
