Exactly.
He was superb for us.

Sour taste at the end but we can have no complaints given what VvD did.

He's the one player we have sold recently that would add something to this team. But given what we did with the dough we are much better without him.
Agree with all of that. And with the comment above that he probably regrets the choices he made.

He's not in our go to first XI.
Regularly kept out of the side by Horrendouson and a Newcastle reject. That's what Klopp thinks of his most expensive midfielder.

And sye, you dont have to take everything so personally.
Why would he be? He's been in and out with injury to much, and our midfield 3 has been superb this year..

Last year he started many games in what you would call big games

Spurs away
City home
UTD Home
Chelsea Home
Bayern Home
Porto. Home QF

Not bad going for someone not trusted in big games

Sye, you have to realise Everyone knows one Word about Keita which isn't positive and you jump to his defence.
A lot of is a banter mate, stop taking everything so personally.

Wijnaldum has been off for a few games now, I would 100% start.

Fab
Hendo
Keita

For the next few games, Naby offers so much more offensively and we will be playing teams who will sit deep...

West ham, Bournemouth, Watford, Athletico

You really don't know when to give it a rest do you?
You really are like a particularly annoying child.

And with that I shall pop back off into the ether.

Imagine what it'd be like if you were a long term poster, and had had years of it! biggrin

(Joking aside I appreciate the positivity most of the time Sye, it's much better than bashing the team continuously. Just sometimes it can be a bit much that any weakness has to be explained away).

I would agree about Keita playing in some of the new games. Hopefully he's not the new Sturridge on injuries, just without having had a good full season with us.

Our best performance came this year (away Leicester 0-4) with him in midfield having a brilliant game, he offers us something totally different, something that goes massively missed is how often he wins us the ball back high up the pitch, he just needs an injury free run now (and like you say hopefully he doesn't become DS)

Anyway moving on

West ham home Monday, can only see a 2/3 nill win...

Keita works best against teams that are willing to play us. Against teams that sit back and pack the defence? Not so much.

Jurgen Klopp received a letter from a 10-year old Manchester United fan. Klopp responded in spectacular fashion!
