It's possible to be critical of a player's performance in a game without decrying how important they are to the situation we are on.
Salah has a credible shout to be the best player we have had since Dalglish.
Never stops running and even when he has an off night regularly gets a goal.

Last 2 seasons, Salah has more combined goals and assists than any player in Europe other than Messi. I think we can allow him the odd off game every now and then before vilifying him.
Wasn’t just Salah who was poor last night... I’m struggling to think of anyone who put in a good good performance other than Trent.
How much of that is because Salah is a talented player and how much of that is just due to the way we play and the amount of chances we create as a team?Wasn’t just Salah who was poor last night... I’m struggling to think of anyone who put in a good good performance other than Trent.
For instance, if we replaced Salah with Werner, Sancho, etc, etc, etc, would we see more goals and assists, less, or roughly the same?

Haven't we won something like 34 out of 35 games? For instance, if we replaced Salah with Werner, Sancho, etc, etc, etc, would we see more goals and assists, less, or roughly the same?
We are not going to see a run like this for a long time do any forward is going to suffer in comparison, surely?
Salah is not just a "cog in the wheel" but also has that bit of magic as well. It's rare to be both.

We have won 35 out of 36 in the league, and lost one in the last 65 gamesfrom here https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/for...

Despite my constant protests, I am a big fan of Salah. His first season was just incredible, which is why it makes it frustrating to see him losing the ball, missing shots, etc.
He's an amazing talent, but I also think it wouldn't be impossible to improve our attacking options.
I've always said this thread needs more definitive stats. He's an amazing talent, but I also think it wouldn't be impossible to improve our attacking options.
I wonder if someone will post some soon.

We still need that upgrade eh He's an amazing talent, but I also think it wouldn't be impossible to improve our attacking options.
Problem is I think we have what you're asking for. Ox for me is a starter all day long. Same with Shaq (is he injured or just waiting to leave?). Ox, Shaq & Div should be more than enough to push for starters and use as rotation. Even with a couple of superb youngsters that we have should sufficient backup for the rotation of extra attacking options.
Personally I'd like to see Origi given more minutes. No going wide unless for temporarily switching, just as an out n out striker right up the middle at the last defender to rustle some feathers.
I am slightly worried
Has Sye’s white stallion got coronavirus?
Surely he should be riding to the valiant stat-riddled defence of Keita and Mo?
Am I the only Liverpool supporter that wants us to:
this Saturday - normal side away to Watford - could be tricky
Tuesday 3rd - put a strong side out against Chelsea in FA cup
Saturday 7th - rotate a few for Bournemouth at home
11th March - full strength for AM

I'm worried too. Seems like his last post was Sunday on the Tottenham thread, and was referring to their hooligans attacking people on the streets following the Chelsea game (strange they care about Man City's bus but forgot to comment on that one). Maybe some of them paid him a "visit" after it?

For me, it is all about rhythm right now. If players are taking the foot of the gas a little to leave a little in the tank for th AM game, we'll come unstuck. this Saturday - normal side away to Watford - could be tricky

The players have had very few games recently, so should be fresh. Go full strength in all games (maybe one or two youngsters max in the FA Cup) to build up the rhythm needed before the AM game.

I know I sound like a stuck record.
Get the league won and let the rest take care of itself.
If all the players get a holiday for the rest of the season we're still pretty likely to win it from here...Get the league won and let the rest take care of itself.
I was having palpitations on Monday, can't stand much more of that
