We were poor in every position.
I think they thought it was a foregone conclusion, time for a kick up the arris

I'm not defending lovren anyway - I still prefer Matip as 3rd choice. I just get sick of the predictable pouncing on a mistake that goes on, when virtually everyone was making mistakes without any individual getting mentioned.

I never said Lovren lost us the game. I've for a very long time have always thought he was a liability. He looks nervous every time he plays, his positional sense is generally terrible, ball watches at times and when not watching the ball, likes the occasional man hug.

Jokes aside, I was also surprised he was chosen over Matip. I'd be happy with him being 4th choice, if there is actually such a thing.
