Roy Hodgson admits VAR made the right call by disallowing James Tomkins' goal for Crystal Palace against Liverpool.
“There was a foul at the near post, Jordan did unfortunately push Lovren and VAR disallowed the goal.”
Fair play“There was a foul at the near post, Jordan did unfortunately push Lovren and VAR disallowed the goal.”
Certainly 10x pressure in that push than the one on Zaha which won the free kick

Also hilarious to see some of you praising Roy.
Yes I am a gutted and worried united fan. But ffs. You are getting some serious title winning luck. LiVARpool indeed.
Not sure why you reacted to that post on particular.
Roy admits it’s a push, I was complimenting him for saying that rather than whinging and moaning. I don’t rate him as a top manager but he has always been a decent guy.
And did you see the push that led to the free kick?
Maybe it’s the stress of the game against Sheffield tomorrow, we are making our own luck by never giving up and playing to the 95th minute like your lot used to

Sorry mate wasn’t singling you out but the dice is certainly rolling your way right now. Roy admits it’s a push, I was complimenting him for saying that rather than whinging and moaning. I don’t rate him as a top manager but he has always been a decent guy.

The premier league is fking up VAR. right now you guys are benefiting. But these things balance out. I wait with baited breath for the balance.

"Today, a lady in Waitrose on the high street was caught shoplifting - the lady was seen on security cameras by staff who immediately apprehended her and stopped the theft. Police Inspector Var stated 'Waitrose are lucky they had cameras to stop the offense as it occurred and i feel that it is unfair on the lady to have been caught'. This is the 8th time in 3 months offenses have been committed against Waitrose and it is disappointing that their theft reductions are only achieved through shoplifters being caught in the act. Many feel that shoplifters should be able to get away with their crimes if a person hasnt seen it occur physically and relying on video cameras to stop offenses that are clearly happening isnt fair."

But several felt oh fk when that first goal went in. No one screamed foul. None of you did.
I certainly felt oh st when it went in, I saw Lovren on the floor appealing but I didn't have a clue what for as I didn’t see the push. Then they played the slow motion replay that VAR sees and l thought VAR will likely give the foul. If that incident happens in the middle of the pitch a foul would be given the majority of the time.
First time I’ve seen the clip played on the TV screens in the stadium though.

Answer a different question. If that challenge had been Louvren on Kane and a pen was given you’d be happy? Would you bks.

No worries fella, we have had some go against us (the Firmino “offside” springs to mind) but we got a bit lucky with the City non handball for sure. The premier league is fking up VAR. right now you guys are benefiting. But these things balance out. I wait with baited breath for the balance.
Today’s was a clear push, happens all the time in the area though so I think we will see a few goals like that cancelled by VAR

That’s because only OT and Anfield don’t have those screens perhaps?
But haven’t seen them replay VAR decisions at all the other grounds, you just get the graphics and decision in words. Selhurst Park played a video of the pushing incident. Do other grounds also do that?Gone a bit AMG said:

I would have honestly felt it a bit soft but been annoyed at Lovren, have a look at a clip of Lovren “push” on Calvert-Lewin which was given against us, much less contact than yesterday Adam B said:
