He was a right nuisance all game and in a very good way. Definitely a Klopp-type worker.

We've never HAD an Asian player on our books have we? He certainly played well on Wednesday. I wonder how much of this is a financial "appealing to that market" transfer...if he does sign I hope he does well.
I guess Yan Dhanda doesn't count wink

I know what you mean about financial appealing but Klopp is not that kind of manager, if we signed him it will because he believes he improves the squad...

Agreed..I just wonder if there would be an initial conversation somewhere that said "you know what we're missing? Someone representing that market...is there anyone we could at least look at?".

Ultimately its big business, after all.

About time Leicester dropped some points IMO. Be nice to have a double digit lead getting on a plane to Qatar. Especially as they will have played a game more once we return.
There's only one team overdue dropping some points and it isn't Leicester hehe

His YT video looks amazing... I expect him to score 10 and assist 10 in the 2nd half of the season

So was he playing against us the other night knowing he was joining us (either in summer or January)?

This deal hasn't materialised since Tuesday.

Difficult to see where any incoming team would fit into the team at the moment. Even with a few injuries were still performing and looking strong.

Perhaps looking for a quality back-up to sit on the bench as a back-up to Mane/Salah and Firmino. Despite talking up of Shaq from Klopp recently, he still is getting limited playing time and I reckon he will probably be moved on at some point. What Shaq lacks in tracking back eagerness and pace of a gazelle, Minamino could potentially fulfil. Also 4 years younger.

Though Shaq put a lot of hard yards in against Everton myself. No issues with covering and tracking back.

I guess Minamino means we're not getting Werner. Makes sense, Werner wouldn't join to be a sub.

When's the back up LB signing?

Brewster and Curtis are apparently going out on loan come January. I see Mini'mo as a long term replacement for Lallana and he can also be an option for any of the front three (especially Firmino who we don't really have a backup for currently) as he started his career as a forward.
