Bloody Red Bull. Can't just sponsor one team!

Oh I dunno. If we're talking about working with crap teams, Torres had some absolute chuff around him. The number of times him and Gerrard played together wasn't that many! At least Suarez benefited from Sterling and Sturridge!
Yeah, Suarez did have better quality in his last season. But Torres probably had Gerrard at the peak of his ability, though both had their injury issues at the time.

Still think Suarez is the best I've seen.
Mo scored on his debut and didn't stop, Suarez took a bit of time to find his feet. If you ignore that starting period for Suarez and compare both at their best, then the stats will show Suarez ahead I expect.

I'm not really sure one is better than the other, just different goal scorers, I couldn't pick between them.

It would have been amazing to see Salah, Suarez and Gerrard in the same team.

Athletico isn't a great draw, they can certainly stifle us

To win it you have to beat some great teams. We've done it a lot over the last couple of years. Whether we do it again... It's an elite competition ultimately, you expect decent teams in it. Should be interesting!

No easy games at this level.

Athletico aren't setting the world on fire this year. No Griezmann. 5th in La Liga.

They'll be more wary of the draw than us.

The wrong Madrid. Still over two legs I fancy us.

This. I fancy us over the two legs.

And since it'll be written a lot over the coming weeks. There's no H in Atlético.

Couldn’t care less who we drew. It’s the knock out stages of the Champions League, bring em all on. I’d prefer to fry other fish this year.

I seem to recall them stuffing us in a Cup Final.

Not sure. I don't think I'd want to play Real in the Last 16, even if they aren't quite the team a few years ago. They'd raise their game for us especially in front of 81,000 fans.

Don't know what you're talking about Ferris. We smashed them 8-0 in what was the high-scoring and highest winning margin CL final ever.

I also remember this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_27DEDNPpo

Bit of everything for this thread. Rafa, Torres, Gerrard, Jay Spearing and, er, Juande Ramos.
