Just shows what passion and work rate can do
Just shows what being st scared of big Dunc can do for motivation.... hehe
Did you clock his eyes towards the end of the game, talk about intensity, Man Utd next at their place, another stiff test...

Just hope it can work for Duncan to be in charge for the foreseeable, giving us the chance to take stock and not rush in to anymore rash managerial decisions.

If Passion and work rate win matches the Big man will be fine

I think you would be best to keep him till summer then assess again...

Hopefully the chuckle brothers will see that and maybe give him December to see if we can salvage anything

I don't think we should get too carried away after one game. Hopefully the board will give him a few games which will take the pressure off making a rush appointment.

The old lady must've been rocking today though biggrin

Leon Osman said in the after match analysis, it had been a long time since he had heard it so loud at The Old Lady

What a crazy game it is! I have just got home and couldn’t believe my eyes and ears today, quite how the players lifted their performance levels beyond anything I’ve seen for a few years is a bit baffling. It’s also a little disappointing, on the basis that they should be giving it all every game.

I reckon the big yin has made a difference, Klopp like in his celebrations and emotion, it may be just one game but it’s a long time since we have witnessed anything quite so passionate. I think he should be told that it’s his gig until the summer, I know it’s only one game but his motivational powers were clear today and 442 works for us.

Let's not get to carried away after one game, big Dunc may be the second coming of Howard Kendall, or he may be like Ole...

I absolutely agree, we should not get carried away on the back of one result. However, what I witnessed today was akin to a resurrection, not sure if you were there but from my seat there was a different attitude from the players and the crowd responded.

I personally want Rafa, but if Duncan can get us going between now and the new year then I will back him, today was a different level of performance and its great but troubling all at the same time. COYB

Well played today guys

Not being from the city I don’t feel the rivalry so much and quite like a proper club like Everton to do well (certainly against the likes of City and Chelsea) whilst constantly losing against us of course

Made up , its surprising what you can get out of the game when you try, and thats all we have been asking for a few weeks , apparently Jeff on sky sports was saying its the most tackles Everton have made in a game in A DECADE. think he said 37 tackles

Better stat than that, I saw this

Did Duncan Ferguson make a difference? Everton made 37 tackles against Chelsea. That’s the most by any team in the Premier League this season and the most that Everton have made in a Premier League game all decade.

Amazing players need a kick up the ass to want to win the ball back, stay with him till summer then see how it's going

Put it this way as an Everton player under Big Dunc you will give your all as he will demand it, and I would imagine you do not want to let him bring his wrath upon you. COYB more of the same

It seems your squad, and Spurs squad, gave up on the previous managers.

Liverpool as a city needs both clubs flourishing, so I hope you turn the corner.

I read something about Keane having a pop at Silva in the dressing room. By all accounts Silva would be nice as pie to the players faces, then hang them out to dry in a press conference

I hope not, it's history and time to move on. I think Silva is a decent fella and for me the real issue is our board, we have been going through managers lately and the people responsible should be held to account.
