Rumours that Doucoure has broken his foot, if true he’ll be out for a couple of months and will be a big miss. James is also out for tonight’s game but Davies is back, would’ve liked to see James on the pitch tonight it’s his sort of game. COYB

Allan just won the ball in midfield which just typifies his game won the played a simple pass, a pleasure to watch, reminded me of Peter Reid at his best

On the bench tonight we have Bernard Davies, Virginia Broadhead and John Tyrer. never heard of any of them.

They were the better team, we just lack their quality but some good points, especially Pickford. We have some winnable fixtures coming up, but our bench shows how stick thin the squad is.

Had a feeling we'd lose this, ah well a top 4 finish was ambitious this season.

I'll still be very happy if we get top 6.

The future is looking rosy though COYB

I think we missed the quality balls from James and the pegs of Doucoure tonight. We looked more of a threat when Davies came on as well.

If Doucoure has really broken his foot that is really damaging for your top 4 chances. Like someone already said though, top 6 would still be a fantastic achievement.

Not really fussed, as long as we have a decent season I'm happy. I wouldn't be upset if we finished above them, but if we finished 6th and they were 5th itwouldn't be the end of the world smile

As I have said in the past few weeks, we are on the fight track. After last night we can see where we are lacking, defensively we are in there with good permeation’s when the injuries occur. Allan last night showed what we miss when he is out. All in all guys it’s a good time to be a Toffee.

Looking forward to the Burnley game, I like Dyche and think he's a top manager and they've had some decent results recently, it should be a good game. Apparently Siggy and James are doubtful and Gbamin won't be back until after Easter, he's being resurrected apparently. COYB

Blue I don’t think Gbamin exists he is a tax loss dreamed up by someone in accounts.

The lesser spotted Gbamin? I remember him playing against Watford but that’s it, I gather he has a deep muscle tear which is about as bad as it gets.

Wasn't that his only appearance for the club? He looked great for all 5 minutes he played...

He was near to a return months ago but then injured himself in training, as not been seen since
