It sounds like they want to appoint a permanent manager rather than someone until the end of the season. The good thing is Eddie Howe is out of the running, I like him, but I don't think he's the right person to take over Everton. Bournemouth concede more goals than we do!

Who the fk is Pereira other than Silva mk2? I really can see the board getting this appointment massively wrong
He led Porto to back to back titles, but who knows, we seem cursed these days. I know it’s easy with 20/20 but not signing a decent striker since Rom left has been a major mistake, I’ve watched too many games we have bossed but not converted chances.

Silva seems to have failed to develop players and some, like Keane seem to have gone backwards. My personal choice would be Rafa, I think he would stabilise us and set us on the right path but I’d only want him for a couple of seasons while we groom an up and coming young manager. I really don’t want Moyes, which is probably who we will get with Kenwright pulling the strings.

Sue, when you lift the PL in May, what do you think Klopp will do? Stay with you or find a new challenge.

Deffo stay he will not beak a contract like that - he is also building a massive legacy for himself atm at Liverpool and I am sure he knows he can do more

The PL would be a worst place without him.

Would he look at managing Germany as a career goal I wonder?

i think he would take a break and then do that, trouble is he seems to like to integrate into a team and become a father figure / mentor and create a "family" for want of a better word. Managing national teams never gives you that really.

My dream is he stays for 3 more years, we win 3 titles and go back above United smile

Ok, quick scenario. You win the PL (job done) perhaps another big cup in May. Good run on CL.

We have the Euros.

Germany get knocked out in group stage (France and Portugal).

Germany sack their manager......

Klopp, on a high, takes the job.

Why wait to be branded a failure at Liverpool, when you fail to ratain your crown next year.... go out on a high, lead your country to World Cup glory....

Job done..... career goals.
