The Official Everton thread - Vol 2

Hilly, you need to review your posts before hitting send, ‘come on arse’ is not really appropriate for a footie thread. I watched them against Newcastle and thought they played well, looks like Arteta has started to sort them out and I think they’re better than their league position. I would take a draw at their place.

Nice spot Blue on the Arse I still think we can win there
Just a quick mention for Speedo Mick, he’s raised £250k so far on his latest trek, having coped with the very worst weather crossing Bodmin Moor. I had the honour to meet him a few years ago when he was passing through Staffordshire, amazing bloke and a true inspiration to all of us. I loved the Klopp story today, but Speedo has trumped him (again).

We were looking out for him this time as we live in Staffordshire but with his injury it the days out and we could not make it. Where are you in Staffordshire Blue
I lived in The Peak District at that time but saw Speedo as he passed by Lichfield and stopped to give him a tenner. Moved south with work since but enjoyed my time up there, great people. Blue62 said:

The man is an inspiration. A real life hero. See he's raised over £330k now. Amazing and shows the true spirit of the club and city.3 points tomorrow please Everton. Coyb!

Sidibe absolutely a liability today. I think we deserved a draw but hey ho
I agree Hilly, hopefully we won't make him permanent, he looks leaden. DCL really does need to make more of the opportunities he is getting, we should've drawn at worst, Arsenal really started to lose the plot the longer the game went on and were there for the taking. I would hope he will give Kean a start in the next few games, just to see what he can do.hilly10 said:

You can single out Sidibe ,but i didnt think Mina and Holgate were any better, Carlo didnt hold back criticising our defence Regarding Kean I dont think he will stay, I cant see anything in him, huffs and puffs and runs around alot, ,subjective of course happy to be proved wrong,

Have to agree Phil he hardly sets the pitch alight and like you don’t see a top striker in there at all. Will have to see if CA can see something we cannot.VAR (or the officials using it) is corrupt, how has that been disallowed? We had a goal like that scored against us last season and it stood as the player missed the ball (even though he attempt to kick it into the goal on the way in).
Good point overall, but you deserved 3 there, football is corrupt.
