Liking it so far, it's an alternate version of Modern Life is Good-ish as a panel show. Website FAQs, that Money for Nothing programme on daytime BBC, adverts smile . DG is sounding a bit rough on the voice overs during the actual ads though hehe

I enjoyed it, but not as much as I immediately enjoyed MLIG. I feel I've sort of had my fill of games where the points are just an arbitrary joke tacked onto the side of things.

Found it a bit boring, not sure the format quite works. Feels like half a modern life episodes worth of content bulked out with some guest filler. Also guests mean you have to hear Dave Gorman laugh more, which i hadn't realised until this show, is quite annoying.

I'm still watching this, but it isn't as high on my priority as MLIG was previously.

I think the format has some promise but my issue is which bits of it feel forced, given he has some guests on more than once who have already done the same bit before, but feel like they have to act surprised. Such as with the "paint colours range" game - funny once, but not going forward.

However, I feel that if I ever bump into Annabel Port in Carnaby Street, which I rarely have cause to visit, I would have to play along with it and then say I knew that it was for Dave at the end... I dunno.,

Yup. One of his weaker efforts, sadly. I went to his gig in Guildford recently and laughed like a train. Especially the Giraffe joke. He was brilliant from start to finish. I also loved his earlier TV shows, MLIG and when he went off searching for other Dave Gormans especially. But this format doesn't really suit him, or that's my take on it at least. We're still watching it, mind, but just not looking forward to each new episode as much as we have past series of his stuff.

Yeah I've watched everyone one so far. It's ok, there are moments but largely I find Dave works best when he is bouncing off himself and not other guests. It's just not as watchable as MLIG ultimately.

The Giraffe joke - his best ever and definitely worth seeing the show for!

It is terrible, as a concept it is good but executed it is tordid - mostly as a result of him having to converse with the worlds most Z list rated dregs of comedy. You are only as good as your team, and this is not working for Dave (or DAVE).

Agreed. It certainly raises a titter but isn't a patch on MLIG, in my opinion.

I quite enjoy it. Like most panel shows, it very much depends on the panel, but on the whole it's been very watchable so far.
