I'm currently looking at a ised SQ5. Budget of around £20k which is throwing up higher mileage cars. We had an A6 Avant at work with the same engine (albeit the single turbo 250bhp model) and that still pulled like a train with 160k miles on the clock. But sinilarly we have BMW X5 30d's at work which are flat as a fart after 100k. Any experience or advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

The 320 ps ones are significant quicker than the 250 ps single turbo engines.

100k miles is a lot, but it would probably be a motorway grunt to have racked up that sort of distance.

My sq5 is 2014, just clocked 53k without any major issues

I was offered 19.5k by webuyanycar a while ago, so you shouldn’t need to go too high mileage wise.

Goes like a train, and returns decent fuel consumption as long as you don’t do short journeys- 40+mpg.

Check spec!!!

I thought the lowest power you could get was the 313 BiTdi motor on the SQ5.

That said, the single turbo 250 bhp motor in the A6 Avant we had at work was still astonishingly quick

Lower mileage ones (50kish) are holding firm around £22.5k on Autotrader at the minute. As for spec, I'm not in a huge rush so I want flat bottomed steering wheel, Drive Select option and Bose as a minimum. Any other Specs you suggest?

Depends on your needs.....
Electric seats aren’t necessarily memory or heated.
Sunroof - prone to issues I believe
Nav?? Isn’t standard
Towbar? - fold away is neat

I think winter will firm prices a bit......
