Ooops got that wrong then.

Still there is no way in the world bottom of the Prem would get 94m if they sold there own TV rights, that's what I am trying to get at. A global market would want to watch the big 6 and the clubs could sell it world wide no problem. No disrespect to the lower teams in the Prem but they wouldn't sell there own TV rights to the rest of the world no where near like Liverpool would. That's why the current Prem ethos works so well for English football. Blanket sell the rights.
The disparity between teams is already too great before allowing an even bigger gap in finances.

Watched the first half Chelsea, picture was very good, HD, good, then switched to Liverpool which wasn’t. Very odd, number of streams perhaps?

Watched the United v Spurs game on my 4K Firestick last night and it was perfect throughout. Really impressed with it and will give Sky something to think about!!!

Watched 2 games simultaneously on one laptop. The video quality was immense.

Sadly the commentary on the Leicester v Watford game was amazingly biased. It should never be that way, but Watford fans are used to it irked

Had the big games on last night, Chelsea v Villa on the main TV and United v Spurs on my Amazon Echo Show. Great stuff.

Excellent quality on my Firestick 4k too. Hoping a full football pack comes about from a streaming company soon after cancelling my Sky/BT when they priced it over a ton a month!

Simon Jordan mentioned it on the radio a while ago. He said the Premier should start their own streaming service similar to Netflix/Prime and offer a monthly subscription service world wide. That would make so much money its unreal.

Danger however is Amazon will be crunching these numbers. They have offered every game pretty much at the same time tonight, so after a few years of their current TV deal they will know what the viewers/Fans want. Eg The Man U and Liverpool games would prob have about 50% of tonight's viewers.

The so called big 6 have been moaning about the current TV rights saying they think they should get more TV money as they bring in more viewers, Similar to La Liga where Barcelona, Madrid etc make their own TV deals.

I just hope the Prem sticks to its ethos and pays every Prem club the same Money from UK TV rights.
The Premier League should do something like NFL Gamepass. £160 a year, you can stream every non-TV game and watch a dedicated 24/7 NFL channel.

This will never happen due to the 3pm blackout.

Watched ManU Vs Spurs last night, picture was excellent via LG 4K TV built in app. 70 meg broadband.

I like it a lot. Great to flick between games if one is proving to be a bore draw and there's a 5-5 thriller available that wouldn't normally have been televised.

I thought it was great and worked well on BT superfast BB. My bro moaned about some stuttering and that hit bets were coming through before goals were scored. Great result for LFC too smile

It will give Sky something to think about. Their whole sports package is built around PL football, they will have to pay whatever it costs to keep as many games as they can, or reduce subscription costs by 3/4.

I've missed all the build up to games on Amazon - but is it as biased as Sky with all the ex-Liverpool players as pundits?

I believe all NFL games are available for TV in the states only if the stadium is sold out and with only 32 teams across the whole of the US thats not a problem. It could probably work for the Premier and it would still protect the lower leagues form the 1500hrs blackout.

After commenting that the colours looked a bit washed out with the Firestick when compared to Sky Q, I had a fiddle with some settings on the TV.

Turns out it had reset itself to Normal picture mode for the Firestick / HDR input. Changed it to Dynamic and it's transformed the picture - infinitely better, pin sharp and zero flicker or buffer.

Quite impressed, to be fair.

A mix of everyone! Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, Jermaine Jenas, Roberto Martinez, Clinton Morrison, some Arsenal footballer bird, Peter Crouch, Peter Schmeichel, Harry Redknapp, Owen Hargreaves, there's been loads of them!

I hope they win all the games in the next round of bidding and do a subscription for £10 a month.

The ability to start the game from the beginning or just watch the goals I found much better than sky.

I just wish the goals would be available a little sooner. I went out of the room, missed a goal last night and had to wait about 10 minutes for it to appear..

Apart from that slight quibble, it's great.
