The US still aren't happy with Boris's decision to let BHuawei into the UK

This doesn't bode well for any Uk/US trade deal.

I’m certain after recent leaks that the US require the same compliance and back door entry from their 5G providers that China does from theirs? That’s even if their providers know about it.

Certain I read some news last week about this........ https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2020/02/12/busin...

They’re all as bad as each other. I understand the concern about China being involved but the assumption is they’re doing it already surely? And with increased checks and analysis as the government have explained its managed risk.

Money talks however.

I do wonder as well if we know they know we know they know and thus we are happy to let them gather limited data as it also gives us a route to feed misinformation and see what they're up to.

A better option might be to develop our own technology, but that hasn't been the British way for 70 years!

Top US democrat politicians have had their staff infiltrated by Chinese spies for years.

Not that it’s been reported much over here
